  • I still don't understand how you can negotiate with somebody without actually sitting down with them at some point. If there really was negotiation and all things agreed....why not sit down? Why do we have to cont. To go thru the mediator?

There was no agreement and there was no real negotiation!

    • And then why the conference call at 3 in the morning to just announce there is no fight. If floyd did agree would arum had waited till 3 in the morning to announce it. I mean, afterall, he scheduled this conference call for 3 in the morning....tis bobfather guy is a character

      • FACTS:
        1. Floyd Mayweather and all members of his team are crazy. Crazy people are dangerous. They can commit any crime and get away with it because - they are crazy.

        2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is NOT scared of Pacquiao. F. Jr is just simply, factually, undeniably CRAZY. Crazy people should be institutionalized.

        3. If you deal with a crazy person, that makes you look crazy as well. So leave this person alone. You dont know what he is capable of doing when his craziness acts up. Run as far as you can ! !

And Pac MIGHT make another concession and agree to take random blood tests up to the day of the fight.

I know, i'm just being TOO optimistic, but hey, dreams are free right?

I mean, the writers of LOST couldn't make up the script for this whole Pac/Floyd teledrama. So who am i to say on what CANNOT happen?

After Bob says deal is dead, and no matter how politely he does, tells a story about negotiations between the camps. Ellerbee, in response, says either Bob or Arum is lying. How could he have made this staement until after Bob made his?

I mean hate floyd, think he is gay, ducker whatever. Even if all those things were 100% true, is the logic you apply here reasonable?

So basically if you don’t have a cutoff, it doesn’t mean it’s random at all. That’s why the negotiations went down. It was the same as before.”

They stopped taking blood 18 days before [Mayweather-Mosley], so that shows that they can do it and be fine,” Arum would tell Lance Pugmire of the LA Times, explaining why he believes 14 days should be sufficient to satisfy Mayweather’s demands. We’re saying the same thing, that if there’s information that emerges in the final 14 days, we can go to the [state boxing] commission and ask for more tests. We can work it out. No one’s looking to pull any fast ones.

Pacquiao didn't want to submit to blood tests too close to a fight, his camp said. Pacquiao budged on the issue during these talks, moving from a 24-day cutoff of blood testing to 14 days. But all along the Mayweather camp has been silent.

July 15 - http://fighthype.com/pages/content7987.htmlIt should be noted that despite the fact that Mayweather has insisted on random blood testing up until the day of the fight, Pacquiao has only agreed to a 14-day cutoff for random blood testing.

Oh that, Arum. So clever. Telling ESPN: Pacquiao has accepted the terms, including provisions for drug testing (blood and urine) leading up to the bout.

Leading up to the bout? You guys are such easy prey, man.
None of these statements and articles revealed what was in the proposed contract. Are you going to refute Horu's thread that Floyd agreed to the 14 day cut off date. Let me see you stick with your story and argue against Horus since both of you are huge Floyd fanboys. So which one are you going believe?

BTW, just so you know, i don't believe that article from Horus either. And i certainly don't believe Arum, but i do believe that Floyd did say he doesn't want to fight Manny right now, unless proven otherwise. Again, you don't know and i certainly don't know what was in the proposed contract and if there is even one. But the facts and logic would suggest that there was a proposed contract, common sense alone would indicate that. But that might be asking too much from you.

You see there's a difference. We are talking about BOXING'S biggest fight here. Not a scrap fight they try to hype with fingers crossed it reaches the 500k ppv plateu. There's always a problem with floyd in negotiations. He wants an extra 10%,he's supposably the biggest draw etc etc. You have yet, like others acknowledge the golden question.Why.Why hasnt dear floyd signed that dotted line.Im starting to see alot of mayweather fans turning a new leaf.

2 fights i could think on top of my head where there was some issues that never happened.

Margarito (which he offered alot of money for that time and mayw didnt take)
Cotto at one point (he was too green at the time said mayweather, yet he took a baby time out form boxing)

Not to mention the division was getting hot.Entires like p williams, pac, cotto rising, margarito lingering, cintron making work, the list goes on.

The problem you see here my man is that floyd likes it when the air "clears" only to come back of whats damaged left overs. Not this time, pac's still standing yet no answer.
