it is an emotional decision if u take short money or less money than your worth just to shut up some fickle fans who prilly will never like u anyways to prove a point. remember floyd is a prize fighter and so is manny...and ultimately that is the problem. manny got people telling him he is just as big of star. he think he on par with floyd star status and that is why this fight hasn't happened
Great post my dude but hatas wont grab it.

only evidence i see is Arum making up who he has been talking to each week. 1 week it's goldenboy and the next it's ross greenburg an HBO exec who can't negotiate anything!!!
That's true. But at the same time it's inconceivable that Arum would say all of that about Greenburg, and then, if it's untrue, Greenburg just stays silent. Why would the President of HBO Sports let lies be said about him, and not refute them, when he needs good relations with Floyd and GBP?
So while Arum's a nobhead, I'm sure this must be true that Greenburg was negotiating.
And I highly doubt Greenburg was sitting at a desk negotiating with himself. Floyd and his camp must have had some form of contact with him and known about the procedure.

Just.........anyways.Dont make me get big-worded arum with you.You have absolutly no idea what you talking about.
He gave floyd what he wanted. You blind my man? EVERYTHING FLOYD WANTED.If he didnt give mayweather the 60/40 split, mayweather would raise WWIII all over the media. He's been quiet for weeks, now he wants to pop up and claim theyre were "no talks"?
Look brah go support you fighter somwhere else,a non-boxing fan could dissect this with ease.

And yes from a competitive standpoint I would say that he should face Bradley.

Mayweather is a fantastic fighter but will never have the heart or guts to be a legend.
He's scared of losing his 0 simple as that. Pac wants the fight and Mayweather doesn't. Hope he enjoys his retirement probably until he runs out of money and a washed up FMJ gets sparked by some young gun who Mayweather no longer has the influence to avoid for big $.
Maybe then he'll regret not going for it when he had the chance.

I can only assume that contact and those statements were true as I'm sure the President of HBO Sports would say otherwise if someone was putting words into his mouth. Because he's the President of HBO Sports and wouldn't want to misrepresented when he has close ties with BOTH parties.
If the statements were true, then it follows that Greenburg couldn't possibly have been negotiating with himself, as what's the point in that? There must have been contact with Floyd's camp.
