floyd said over a month ago that he was going to take a year off, and you lame ducks bashed him and took it as him saying he's retiring again----didn't you guys see the interview? he's focusing on his boxing camp with the kids and his family---he did say something, and just recently this negotiation thing comes up with arum, when floyd already came out and said he's taking a year off----

You suggesting that every single person in the boxing community knew these negotiations were going on...except Mayweather and Ellerbe?

Ahh, so the people a month ago that were saying Floyd is retiring as a way to duck Pacquiao were right. Thanks for the clarification.

he must have been on vacation somewhere isolated from the rest of the world. with no tv or internet access. Ah, but he used his twitter account several times to say very important things like "it's hot in vegas!" etc.

Thats my belief as well. They at like they just now heard about the negotation drama and its a big surprise. Meanwhile they've been interviewed and all over the news about it. They wait this long to say there have been no negotations? Full of ****. Idiots.

I'm a Mayweather fan, and I agree with you. If there were no negotiations someone from Team Mayweather should have stepped up and said something a LOOOOOOONG time ago. This statement is super weak. I thin Mayweather hurt his reputation a little with the way they handled it by sitting in silence while another man repeatedly called him out on radio, newspaper, and internet. Ellerbe should've stepped up to the plate when Arum placed the "Deadline" on his website.

                      To Mayweather I say,
Money May, the only way you gonna solve this debacle is to come out of your "retirement" and beat Pacquiao to a pulp. Until then, I won't be watching nor supporting anything Mayweather.

                      Signed, Mayweather fan.
