He will be done in two years or so. The Haye will challenge him.

The boxer is among the most noble breeds of man.
Vitali Klitschko is among a number who represent the apotheosis of that nobility.
Long may he run.Comment

GWAAAAN, RICKY LAD!!! RICKY ON A BODYSHOT IN 4!!!
Then what happened?
A bunch of people who didn't know who Floyd Mayweather Jr. was, including you, burst into tears when his body hit the canvas in a semi-conscious daze.

D, IKR??
^^
shade?
Are you about to rip Haye for promising then failing to deliver the quick-fix of excitement you feel is lacking from today's heavyweight division?
Yeah, he's thrown a few bombs in a few match-ups against old, made-to-order opposition. But where's the fire and brimstone he promised you? What happened to "you're all bums and you'll get KTFO" and clearing the division up into a lard-free zone?
Surely Haye is more emblematic of a heavyweight malaise than either Klitschko, being that those guys are going through all the feasible contenders they can get hands on without layoffs in between?
And Vitali especially has shown he can produce exciting fights against competition that can test him (Lewis, Sanders). It's not his fault if these contenders don't bring it enough to produce fireworks with him.
So where's the passionate tirade against Haye and his fakery? I'm excited to read it?
i do slam haye for his antics. like i said earlier, you seem to mistake me for a haye fan. not everybody who criticize the klits is a haye fan. If you opened up your hate plated peelers, you might see that.
The klits are boring to watch 99.9% of the time and thats 1 thing haye isnt when he fights apart from the valuev fight.Comment

fcukin hell!!!!!!!!!! get off vitalis nuts!He should be ashamed of himself. Crashing a good man's Birthday Thread like that.
It's only the biggest kind of reprobate who couldn't admire the qualities of a Vitali Klitschko -- champion boxer, champion husband, champion father, champion humanist -- and drop a civil Birthday salute in his thread, but instead look to belittle his achievements. SMFH.

I'm not a hater. I'm what you and Demise claim not to be...a Haye fan. LMAO
You definitely came onto this forum in a trait of putting the Klitschkos down to puff up Haye. You have issued numerous support statements for Haye here, numerous.
I've never seen you direct any scorn at Haye, much less the kind of abject scorn you reserve for the brothers.
Well, I was about to say, the only argument for Haye at this stage is a stylistic one.
But even that's a little overstated and weakening more and more as time passes, and here's why,
like I said, Vitali is not a 'boring' fighter at all. He comes to fight, throws a lot of punches, hits hard and knocks guys out. His last fight ended in a highlight-reel KO and was a decent fight to watch. Vitali went in with a disregard for being hit to make it somewhat a fight, knowing his opposition wasn't really his level but the best he could get in the ring at the time. Watch him against Lennox or Sanders, ie. really worthy comp. Boring? It takes two on a level with each other to make for genuine fireworks.
How truly exciting is watching David Haye backpedal and hit a present-day, overmatched version of John Ruiz in the head? That wasn't fireworks. I'm not even criticizing it, I'm just saying it was no more truly thrilling than what was seen in Klitschko-Sosnowski. Unless the visual of a hard single bomb bouncing off a guy's head in and of itself is all that impresses you in boxing?
Did you watch Haye-Ruiz? Not that impressive. Ruiz' heart was insane, but Haye labored getting him out of there. The moment passed on that KO and the way the fight ended was an anticlimax, the crowd was even cooling off at points waiting for the big **** that never came.
And, then...what good is an 'exciting' style if you aren't fighting the real contenders? Haye needs to step up to a prime or close to prime contender NOW. Barrett, fair enough. Valueve, fair enough. Ruiz, mando, fair enough. Now let's get it on. It doesn't even have to be a Klitschko for my money. Just someone prime or close to prime, one of the Top 10 contenders who fit that bill, any of 'em.
The Klitschkos are working their way through the list of everyone feasible they can get in the ring with them.
You don't really have a point in ragging on the big man. Stop pretending there's some righteousness behind it.

I'm not predisposed to being a Vitali fan. It's a purely objective appraisal of the man's qualities, and you are a reprobate to dismiss those qualities and to pour scorn on celebration of them.
This has moved past flamey mockery for jokes and into you being handily out-debated and your wrongheaded point of view being comprehensively dismantled.
Sorry, bud. No hard feelings.

To add to your comments, I have read good boxing writers, have pointed out that in Foreman's comeback, he was careful to fight only palookas, who posed no threat to him, and that the Moorer fight depended on only ONE lucky punch, since he was losing every, or almost every round before that. No, George Foreman was only off for ONE year before he KOed the Teddy Atlas fighter Moorer.
He lost to Tommy Morrison (who wasn't all that good) the previous year.
He lost to Holyfield two years before that.
Foreman was not a dominant champion in the 90s. He never fought the top HWs in the division like Tyson, Lewis and Bowe. He was gifted against Shultz and Savarese, before Briggs was given a gift decision over him.
And after he won, his title reign was rather undistinguishe, and very subdued and ordinary.
I personally think that for him to come back at age 45 was an almos unique feat, even taking into consideration the galaxy of nonen****** he dispatched. His capability to absorb punches was only amplified by his enormous bulk, making him almost impervious to any kind of attack.Comment
