E.A. Jinx is negated by Ricky Hatton. He was featured on the cover of fight night round 2 in europe.....and ended up beating KT, you mentioned it, and that proves it wrong.

        hmm

The curse has already been proven wrong. Ray Lewis had a good year when he was on it (last year). There have been many bad incidents, but not every time. Therefore, if there is a curse, it is not 100% efficient. Kinda like the Kennedy curse...lol.

I stand corrected. I could have sworn people were going on and on about Hopkins losing due to the damn curse to Eastman but I guess I'm wrong.

Anyway, he will still beat Taylor, who is better than Eastman, but I love to **** with you guys because I know there's always someone who will take the bait.

Oh people did say it about Eastman b/c they knew Hopkins would be the cover athlete. I was saying that the people saying that **** were wrong because the game wasn't released until after the Eastman fight.

I swear I wonder about the IQ of some of you. Badmagick couldn't understand this either. Let me try explaining again...

Roy Jones fought Tarver and Jones was the favorite to destroy Tarver. He was on Fight Night 2004. Jones was the one who got destroyed.

Ricky Hatton fought Tszyu. Hatton was supposed to lose. He was the underdog and Tszyu was the favorite to win. Got that? Hatton was the underdog. Hatton was the on cover of Fight Night 2. Since he was the underdog, the one that was supposed to lose, the curse had the reverse effect. So that's why I say the curse isn't dead. That's my argument.

Had Hatton been the favorite, he would have lost.

Say they put Bobby Geipert on the cover of Fight Night Round 3. And then Geipert, for some Arum ass reason, gets a title shot at Erik Morales. Geipert would win, according to the EA curse, against Morales because he [Geipert] would be a ****ING HUGE underdog.

Of course, the curse isn't really real. But umm...**** off.

So let me get this straight. When exactly was it, the "underdog factor" became relevant in discussing the "EA Curse" when its solely limited to the fighter's presence on the cover of the ****ing video game?

Does this mean that Carmelo Anthony will have a poor year in the 2006 NBA season? I highly ****ing doubt it. I also think he might lead the leauge in scoring.

Name another underdog on the cover of an EA game, the same year he was an Underdog too (ie. DLH doesn't count cause he wasn't an underdog until the Hopkins fight). Probably can't because there probably isn't one. Hatton was put on the cover of Fight Night in England/Europe b/c he has more mass appeal there than Hopkins.

And Carmelo won't lead the league in scoring. That'll probably be umm...Kobe Bryant. Wait, define "scoring"

                      1. I cant name one.

                      2. Secondly, you never answered the question as to whether or not that is a rule that you made up.

                      3. and thirdly, Manny Ramirez was on the cover of MVP baseball 2005. Regardless of him being a world champion, he is by no means the best baseball player, or ever near for that matter.
