The curse is real. I mean Lennox looked less than stellar against Klitchko after he was on the cover. Who know what the result would have been had it gone the difference. Same thing with RJ. This is Hopkins first fight since the release on the cover. We'll see what happens

who has Eastman beaten? Oh yeah, NOBODY! He's a prime reason why US fans don't respect the opinion of many UK blabbermouths, the guy gets an inflated ego thru his comments in the worthless British tabloids, then comes to the US and becomes a total lazy-a$$ vs. Joppy and Hopkins.....stick to rooting for the Brits with skils like Hatton and Lewis and Hamed, Eastman makes the UK look real bad

The EA Curse doesn't count because it's been too many months since the game came out. If he lost to Eastman, that'd be one thing but too much time has passed and he already dominated Eastman in the fight immediately after FNR2 came out. I mean what if he doesn't lose until two years from now. Should we be like "HOPKINS LOST! OMG THE CURSE!!!!!"

The curse lives on because Ricky Hatton was the cover athlete for Fight Night R2 in England. He was the underdog in the Tszyu fight. So instead of losing, Hatton won. Had Hatton been the favorite, he'd have lost. This curse is complex.

And its definitely not just an EA Madden curse. Jones isn't the only boxer to fall victim to the EA Curse. DLH and Mosley were featured on the KO Kings 2001 cover. They've definitely fallen off. DLH was on the original KO Kings game on the PS1 before his match with Trinidad.

Maybe the Curse only affects one person.
