The only interesting thing about Pac vs. Margo is if Pacman can KO him or not. Floyd fans say Pacman is one dimensional and if he was, he would never have got past the fighters he beat. After drawing with JMM and losing to Morales in the first fight, Pacman starting developing all around skills. These will be needed to beat Margarito, which I think he will box circles around him...

I consider his opposition to be highly overrated, I dont hate Manny Pacquiao but I believe he has gotten way more credit for his wins than he deserves. This is just my opinion, Don't hate me for it.

Let's look at his best wins...

Morales - Coming off a one sided loss to Raheem, Losing every round.
Oscar - Fought an entire division below his natural weight.
Hatton - Ruined by Floyd, Went down another division in weight.
Cotto - Had just been beaten to a pulp by Margarito

You might think im making excuses but this is how I feel. I'm not saying Pacquiao isnt a good fighter, He beat Barrera in his prime and deserves credit for that. But I dont think his resume is as good as some people like to make out.

I don`t think Floyd is scared of Pacquiao at all i think his mind is just not on boxing and he wants to relax like he says but unfortunately for Floyd alot of fans are not gonna see it that way.They gonna think he`s scared even though he tried to make the fight late last year with Pac but did`nt want to except 14 days.

But i`m sure when Floyd gets the hunger again he`ll fight Pacquiao.Until then will have to hear all the Floyd is *****" and he`s scared"by *******s and ignorant boxing fans.

I guess we have to wait till 2011.All Jokes aside but what if Pac is on roids and he dies of a overdose or what if he were to lose to somebody then this fight will either be dead or not as exciting,damn.

i don't know what to say, i've read all the sentiments of all the posters, *******s, *****s, boxing fans and everyone is disappointed for this news, except for the floyd's alts in bscene who keep defending floyd's excuses. sorry floyd, no one is buying that crap anymore, because of that there are now lots of ex-*****s.

with this move by floyd, i wonder if he still got a space for the hall of fame in boxing. ducking a midget is a disgrace in his legacy, sorry but 'am now fully convinced that floyd is scared of manny.

Mayweather is older than Pacquiao and has showed more signs of being past prime while Pacquiao is out KO'ing welterweights. If anything, he knows he's getting older and as you get older it benefits you to rest your body for longer.


Pac is not normal, he fights more than Mayweather and apparently doesn't need to heal his body. Pacquiao is a machine. Three fights at Welterweight and already matched Mayweather's KO's in 9 fights at WW.


Not everybody can do what Pacquiao is doing. Normal human beings that are 33 years old, need to rest their body.

btw, haven't there been promotors and ppl in the biz who have said that pac being at welterweight is wearing him down as they saw the results from the clottey fight? some ppl in the biz were saying that since clottey didnt throw that many punches but still bruised and busted pac up at welter...lets be aware, pac goes to war in ALL his fights
