After Pac won a congressional seat, reports were the next fight will be the last one for Pac. Now Floyd wants to rest this year and fight Pac next year when Pac might be retire already.

At 4 million buys, he could make close to $40 million, but it even fell well short of the 2.4 they were hoping for at 1.4 PPV buys. Floyd is so popular it's crazy, He goes 2 months without fighting and the world of boxing is going mad already. Wondering "What's going on with Floyd? Who is he going to fight next and when? etc etc. Even the people who don't like him seem to have some sort of obsession with Money Mayweather.

You don't get this with Pacquiao, Everyone knows he is just going to fight another hand-picked Top Rank fighter who is coming off a loss. There's never any excitement around Pacquiao and there wont be until the fight with Mayweather happens.
