    Anyone miss Jermain Taylor?

I'd like to see him return, maybe the long break will help.

Nah. I always thought he was overrated.

He's a nice guy and an ok fighter though but he's been ko'ed brutally a little much lately.

If he wants to continue that's his choice of course.

He doesn't have to come back against tough opposition. Just build his confidence back against alright opposition. He was such a good athlete man, but he was too tense in there and couldn't stay calm. Maybe he could work on that? Maybe...

      I don't know...

If Zab can make a comeback, anything is possible...

But I have a feeling Jermain is always going to be one of those guys whose potential was just never truly realized, and it's a shame. Too many "ifs," and not enough actual instances of him winning over his critics and proving people wrong.

I do too, but I still miss the guy.

if he can fix his stamina and isn't too past prime he'll be one of the top dogs in the supersix, might even win a rematch against froch and arthur

fat chance tho since people fail to realise stamina issues has to do with draining and blowing up a day before the fight

One time I made a thread saying "Taylor's bad stamina is due to overly committing to power punches" (Something of that sort) and someone else told me "It's because he's too tense". I refuse to believe that Taylor isn't putting the work in at the gym. I believe he trains hard but has issues he needs to fix. He just can't stay relaxed and it's annoying

I still stand by what I said and do agree that he's too tense. Everytime I see Taylor punch, it looks like he puts 110% into his punches

I agree with jreck. I don't know if I agree with the overrated, but I thought he was a very good slick boxer, and he was a very like-able guy, but i don't want to see him get beat up anymore. It's just too sad to watch.

He never was one of my favorites, though i liked him well enough, no, i don't really miss him. Maybe it's just one of those, "out of sight-out of mind" things.
