Exactly. This is like Oscar coming on after his card July 31st which has 3 in house fights (Marquez vs Diaz, Juarez vs Linares, Guerrero vs Casamayor) and asking other promoters to stop making in house fights.

People fail to forget that he tried his damdest to make Darchinyan vs Marquez, but Rafa is a proud warrior which is why he is facing Lopez instead.

This is because no one expected Foreman to beat Santos, much less be any good as a fighter. Foreman is limited as a fighter and has a boring style, while Bradley has tremendous upside, is very skilled and IMO is a very exciting fighter to watch. I brought up Foreman for the sole purpose of saying that even a fighter as boring to watch as him can be marketed to the public. What's Shaw's excuse when it comes to Bradley?

The onus in on HBO to enforce the integrity of the sport, certainly the promoters won't do it, as their main priority is money.

This generation of fighters is on one hand a lot more savvy than prior generations, as they have taken control of their own careers, but it hardly differs from that of previous promoters and it's to boxing's detriment. Boxing is so unorganized that the power structure favors only a few, in this generation that would be Pac and Mayweather, which is unfair to the other fighters looking to make a name for themselves. Arum is incredibly intelligent and like him or not, is the probably the best promoter out there. He is creative when it comes to selling/marketing fights...I.E. Cowboy Stadium/Yankee Stadium.
