Why in Gods name would he extend his deal with Arum? They broke up for a reason. Floyd had his eyes on big money fights with Oscar and Ricky. Him and Arum had all kinds of beef. We know this stuff. Maybe he was hurt? Maybe he wanted to fight Spinks at 154? Maybe he wanted to fight for the Lineal Title at 147?

He fought for the Lineal WW Championship in 2006. Cant knock him for that. No matter how we spin it.

I wish it wouldve happened so people can see how big of a disaster it would be for Margarito to share a ring with Floyd.

Because, if he does know that then P-Will is just selling wolf tickets by calling out a fighter that he knows business wise he would never get in the ring.

Honestly I dont think Williams knows too much about boxing politics the kid just wants to fight. Hed fight Haymon for the right price.

              2) Nah, Floyd had a choice and at the time nobody knew Shane was shot. Fact is nobody will tell Floyd what do. Floyd would do what he wants to do. And, he wanted to fight Shane and fought him props to him.
He had nowhere to go once the Berto fight fell off. Mali***gi or Matt Hatton ?

Nate Campbell? I mean he wasn't physically forced to sign, but the writing was on the wall.

Nah, he would get walked down and pounded, like Castillo, but worse.

Tony hasnt spoke Floyds name since 2007. I dont even think hes said word that sounded like Floyd in about 3 years.
He already confronted him face to face and it didn't get him anywhere, I think he just gave up, lol.

Guest 7, lol. I should've known it was you. You defend all the garbage moves Floyd ever made and try to make them seem legit, and you have the nerve to call other people naive?

Baldomir is the p4p GOAT right?

Well **** get Bob on the phone and tell him to make Margarito vs. Floyd.

I been saying since 2005 that Margarito loses almost every round.

                  so not really
                  Again,

The fight was proposed for August of 2006. Floyd could of fougth Marg in 2006 then have time to buyout his contract and fight Baldomir later that year or whoever he wanted even sit out till May 2007 for Oscar if he wanted to. The point is that he could of fought Margarito in August of 2006 and still leave Arum. But, he didn't, according to Ellerbe due to suffering an injury on his hand in the Judah fight. Something that there was ever proof of. Kind of like Oscar's "cut" prior to the Quartey fight.

So then it was November of 2006 for Marg-Floyd. But, Floyd wanted a guarantee 10mil for Hatton and Cotto next. Arum said he could only guarantee 6mil. So Floyd bought out his contract. Since if he didn't buy it out then and there he would be stuck with Arum. Which at the time would of made the Oscar fight probably impossible to make since the cold war was on at the time. However, Floyd could of asked for the extension fight Marg in November and then buy out his contract and fight Oscar in May of 2007. But, he didn't.
