Trinidad would had KHTFO. Trinidad aint as fast, but had very good timming, good jab, his power was ridiculous and Floyd could not hurt Trinidad not even with the stool.

Floyd either runs and loses a ugly fight or he plants his feet like he did against Mosley wins a couple of rounds and then gets KTFO!!

As much as I love Tito. I don't see anybody on that list beating an early 90's version of Whitaker. Not even my beloved Tito.

Mayorga proved he was better than Forrest H2H....

Better skills doesn't mean automatically a win in a H2H match up. Forrest-Mayorga is a great example of that.

          But, yet you agree?
maybe so...but i think its right for forrest to be rated higher than mayorga because imo forrest would beat more fighters on that list than mayorga would. i love mayorga but forrest probably should have been given the nod in the rematch. forrest proved what he could do to a prime mosley and i think he would have outboxed dlh and trinidad too. its a shame forrest got derailed by mayorga and injuries cuz he had the skills.

Yeah I see Trinidad KO most likely outcome, Floyd would probably be winning on the cards though.

It's hard to bet against boxers for me but this is one I'd probably just give it to the puncher, he was much bigger than Floyd too.

Not only would he have been bigger than Mayweather, which in itself means very little in a boxing match, unless the size difference is overwhelming, which in this case it would be 5'8" versus 5'10".

The big difference to me would have been the completely overwhelming way in which Trinidad destroyed the majority of his opponents, no matter whom. Many excellent, unbeaten fighters, and etc.

Rank these on who you feel would do the best head to head. All in their prime at 147 or as close to being in their prime that was they at 47.

Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, Pernell Whitaker, Ike Quartey, Shane Mosley, Vernon Forrest, Ricardo Mayorga, Antonio Margarito, Floyd Mayweather, Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, Manny Pacquiao, Andre Berto.

It's very, very tough to do.

                  My attempt

                  1. Trinidad (would lose to quite a few on here but his power is his great equalizer, one thing Tito could do was punch. Several of these guys would not go 12 with him. Trinidad went undefeated as a Welterweight with a perfect 36-0 record)

                  2. Mosley (younger Mosley circa 2001 had the power to stop the likes of Floyd plus his added speed, relfexes, stamina and form.)

                  3. De La Hoya (lost to the two above, also to Mayweather but at a later date. His boxing ability and size combined makes him as dangerous as any)

                  4. Mayweather (could be ranked #1 but it's hard to say how good he really is at 147 which is not his best weight. Has wins over older versions of 2 boxers above)

                  5. Whitaker (maybe a bit low, even for a Whitaker fighting at a weight he was never that big in. Has losses to 2 fighters ranked higher)

                  6. Quartey (never had a great win at 147 but maybe he should have, with his boxing skills and great jab, he gives all these guys fits)

                  7. Pacquiao (also hard to say where he fits in as I've always maintained that he is still a blown up lightweight, would beat most of these guys but his size could be a major hindrance)

                  8. Forrest (a tall fighter with an excellent jab, knew how to use timing perfectly. Would be a massive challenge for everyone to figure out, has showed weakness when attacked by aggressive fighters)

                  9. Cotto (a great boxer puncher who has taken on all comers in his career, lost to Margarito but I feel would do better versus others than the Mexican would)

                  10. Williams (it's hard to say where Williams should be, he has a big win at 147 over Antonio Margarito but a surprising loss to the uninspiring Carlos Quintana, not sure if it's his best weight. Would give everyone trouble regardless with his size and workrate)

                  11. Margarito (another fighter who has fought every body in his career, holds a big win over Cotto which is now clouded in doubt. His shocking loss to a 38 Shane Mosley does not help his cause when being compared to greats of the modern era)

                  12. Mayorga (holds two wins over the late Vernon Forrest, never a boxing purists' favourite, Mayorga was one of the fans fighters who was a face first slugger. Didn't bother to learn how to box but his fans would have it no other way, his power, strength and pure toughness got him a long way)

                  13. Berto (the youngest fighter of the list and one of only 2 active title holders on this list, has a lot to proof when being compared to the field. Has athleticism in abundance but has yet to be truly tested)
1.DLH-Power,speed,size,great boxing ability, the loss to Tito was a gift from the judges!!The loss to Mosley was close,He dominated the rematch!!

2.Mosley-beat Oscar in a tough 1,only dominated by the massive Vernon Forrest in prime form, power, stamina, speed,if he was only a little bigger!!

3.Tito-Pure power, stamina & size. The win over Oscar was a gift,I believe a prime Mosley would ud him!!But his size & power beats everyone else!!

4.Whitaker-probably the most skilled outa the bunch, but he was undersized!!He fought the top & fought as well as any with a big size disadvantage!!

5.Cotto-superb action fighter, might have been damaged by suspect Margarito,he was always improving, makes U wonder about the what-ifs!!

6.Pacman-best fighter of the decade, rightfully so,amazing accomplishments/career!!Would not beat the bigger guys in their prime!!

7.The Punisher-huge,great stamina, workrate heart!!has the size to beat anyone of these great fighters, highly avoided, beats the elite at 147 right now!!

8.Floyd-never a marquee fight at 147,great skills, but managed as to stay undefeated,he has got to fight a prime elite welter right now!!

9.Forrest-had the skill, but run on top was brief!!Good enough to dominate Mosley, bad enough to loose badly to Mayorga!!

10.Quarty-The Clottey before Clottey, good skills, awesome jab, unfortunately always came up just a little too short!!

11.Mayorga-strong,smoker,always came too fight, had the power to compete at the highest level!!

13.Margarito-I don't know what to think about his super wraps, but has a huge"shady"win over Cotto!!

13.Berto-simply overratted as far as I'm concerned, only thanks to hbo this guy is even here!!
