H2H and you agree that Forrest is 8 spots ahead of Mayorga? In a H2H match up?

You also think a early 90's version of Whitaker losses to a prime Tito at 147?

As much as I love Tito. I don't see anybody on that list beating an early 90's version of Whitaker. Not even my beloved Tito.

Mayorga proved he was better than Forrest H2H....

Better skills doesn't mean automatically a win in a H2H match up. Forrest-Mayorga is a great example of that.

    But, yet you agree?

LOL at the people who voted Pacquiao. 2 official WW fight and he is the best in 15 years? Not hating on Pacquiao, just laughing at the know-how of the voters.

Anyways. I voted Trinidad as the best.

Pretty much, Burner's list but Trini and May switch places.

        4. Mayweather
        5. Whitaker
        6. Quartey
        7. Cotto
        8. Forrest
        9. Williams
        10. Margarito
        11. Pacquaio
        12. Mayorga
        13. Berto

My number 2 and 3 are interchangeable, but I ranked DLH just a notch higher because he by all rights should have won the rematch and he had the Trinidad won all the way up to the 8th round and then, well you know. Trinidad is my number won, just by pure domination. I believe he had 15 or 16 title defenses and just dominated everyone. Oscar, Trinidad and Mosley were the best WW in the last 15 years.

I have May at four just because lack of quality opponents in the WW division. His capture the lineal titles is what got him there, but after that, his defenses and stuff has been soft. His win against Mosley was just several years too late, and he's been in the division for six years and Mosley is the only guy sans Baldomir that were WWs. I can't in good conscience put him above the Top 3 in their primes, since I think they would have beaten him in their primes.

Whitaker and Quartey are right after, and they are there as they were exiting their primes, but still putting up great fights, much respect. Cotto and Forrest are next. Cotto had a great run in the 2000s and had sustained staying power. His resume speaks for itself. His sustained excellence put him there for me. I have Williams and Margarito next. They had good wins. I actually struggled with their placement...Williams beat Margarito, but Margarito beat Cotto who had a great run in the WW division. I'm still debating it I guess...

For the final three, I considered putting Mayorga above Pac because he did more, but much respect to Pac for besting Cotto and Clottey...it was a tough call with Mayorga getting the Vernon Forrest wins. I have Pac low, but honestly...in 15 years, he only has two fights in WW and it wouldn't be fair to have him so high without putting in some dedicated time in the division. I have no problems believing though that he would give all these guys the business and be very competitive if not win.

And Berto is Berto, I'm sure there were better alternatives LoL

But, the rematch wasn't at 147 though. So it should be irrelevant as WW rankings go.

Yeah I know...I was just factoring in H2H and the rest of their careers at WW. Either way, Mosley at #2 is perfectly fine with me.

Mosley and Trinidad...what a great fight it would have been. That's a real shame

Trinidad vs Quartey would have been good, or Forrest.

I think Mayweather could have beaten Trinidad, it's hard to say. 50/50 for me, slight edge to Trinidad.
