Yeah Louis was so fast I can't see his punches being thrown, whatever. Dumb ****er, get off Louis' nuts. Next you'll be saying he's the fastest puncher ever. Come on.

And they showed and rebroadcast Joe Louis' fights on TV. And in theatres. So Foreman would've had the opportunity to see him fight.

BTW, I like the Eubank avatar. How many Eubank fights do you happen to own on VHS or DVD? Know any good places I can get a lot of his fights? I'm wanting no less than 20, preferably his entire career on DVD (or VHS cause I can convert to DVD myself, although its a pain).

          LOL!

And no, I'm not laughing with you.

Dude, don't judge the speed on the slow motion replay that appeared after the 3rd round, and instead watch Louis' quick and oh so powerful, triple left hook that he dropped Max Baer with in real time (*snap, snap, snap*)...Louis may not have had the quickness of hand that Ali did, but "slow as ****", my ass!

Were talking Prime versions. So, it's Ali jibbity-jibbity-jab in Louis face along night long. It's a wide UD or KO.

ali would win, no doubt in my mind. but if the fight took place against the joe louis in louis/schmeling II, nobody could beat joe louis on that night.

                ali by clean UD. 80%
                louis by KO. 20%

I loved the way Joe Louis punched. He's the most complete offensive fighter in history.

But, I think of how he truly struggled with Billy Conn...before taking him out.
Ali was far bigger than Conn, far better......with an all-time great chin.

He would hit Joe more than Conn did, harder than Conn did, & would absorb whatever Joe came back at him with better.

Ali by decision or late TKO.

Weren't Conn and Ali different types of boxers though?

You don't see Louis' bodywork slowing Ali down?
