Though it would be natural for me to automatically put the blame on Floyd jr., the truth is that even according to Bob, this isn't the end of any possibility of the fight.
So i'm just gonna wait and see. Besides. I still haven't heard Floyd's side of this situation. I'll wait til i know ALL the facts first in this case before making any definite conclusions.
One thought though. Floyd jr keeps on harping about how he'll easily earn $40 mill. I wonder who he could challenge other than Pac which could generate him that kind of dough. (assuming the fight DOESN'T push through)
The thing is if this was ESPN before Disney bought them we might know the whole truth. I'm sure Max or Dan would be allowed to actually report the story. ESPN might have actually had more talk about boxing on the netwrok.
But its ESPN the first word is ENTERTAINMENT! And the boxer who rovides the most entertainment (whether it be good or bad in or out the ring) is floyd maywether jr.Comment

- Terms that Golden Boy were certainly happy with (Oscar last month said the deal was very near to being done, indicating that they had obviously CHANGED from the last negotiations on the drug testing issue)
- Terms that certainly included a revised provision on drug testing (Manny said 14 days would be fine recently, soon after Arum said they had agreed to the drug testing issue and money split (with HBO and presumably GBP since Oscar said the deal was very close)
Floyd is simply a coward. A COWARD
Know why? There was no negotiation. There was no "agreement on terms". It didn't exist. Arum wrote something up, and gave it to Ross. Ross passed it to Al. Period. That **** either sat in Al's office, or Floyd sat it next to a stack of rapper demos.
That's not negotiation. At best, it is "a proposal". And i can make a proposal to Jessica Biel to let me hit it from the back.Comment

And if Arum was lying, it would take a simple comment by Shaeffer, Oscar or anyone from MP to let us know. Instead they have remained silent. The silence is deafening. It indicates, to any rightminded person, that Floyd simply does not want to fight. Don't you understand? Boxing is a business, and Floyd is taking a publicity bashing over this. If Arum was just bull****ting and no new terms had been agreed (and why would he, considering he'd be anticipating a response from GBP telling the world that the terms WERE FALSE), we should be told so by someone from Floyd's team. Come on, use your fecking brainsComment

Of course, You are the only Pacqaauio fan on here who actually knows what up with Arum, I know you want the fight to happen...Am sure 98 % of geniune fans want it too but i dont expect GBP or Team Mayweather to come out and make a statement...Why? Because last time when Arum lied NO made any statement because they know Arum is a joke!
Dont get me wrong i would LOVE for either GBP or Team Mayweather to come out and debunk any lies from Arum but i really dont need them to come out and say anything before i knew how Arum plays his games, He does the samething with his fighters and "their" opponents...I see the same pattern for the last 5 years, He even did the samething with Gatti when Mayweather was going to fight him in 2005 so am not suprised.
Can't believe Arum had to drag HBO's top honcho into his circus, and if Greenburg get's pissed he might drag along not only Manny but TR's other good fighters outta HBO if he gets sick of Arum's BS.Comment

A ****** thread obviously to deflect the embarrassment Floyd fans are now experiencing.
You'll see more of these threads as a diversionary tactic.
Man, how KFC turned them down big time. Well, sort of. (I'm assuming Floyd fans pretended to want the fight.) LOL.Comment

Oscar himself said last month a deal was very near to being done (http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxin...ny-fight-plan/). Soon after Arum confirmed Golden boy were happy with the terms. Arum and Greenburg have been pushing for the fight. Since Oscar said the terms were very near, we haven't heard from Golden boy - so if the terms had suddenly gone from 'very very near' to 'no, not near, Arum is a lying scumbag!' surely they would have told us so?
Floyd apologists need a reality check, seriously
That for me is the main question right now. No wonder Richard Schaeffer put the clamps on his boss' gaping mouth.
Still, Floyd being mum about everything is another question.Comment

Greenburg would probably not even bother himself with anything Arum says to the media, The guy rarely court publicity unless they have a fight annouce or a mega-deal gets signed.
The fact that Arum claimed last week to have spoken and agree a deal with GBP, That they have send the proposal and that we are all waiting on Mayweather to accept it, Now he has done a 180 and claimed only to have spoken to Ross greenburg the head of HBO....
If you are trying to make a fight why would you even speak to Greenburg? You only speak to greenburg when you have a fight to pitch to him.Comment
