but well... if that happens, and pac did not responded on floyd... then i will be a total *****... i just hope that offer of floyd will be shouted out to pac before pac signs a contract to dance with either margacheatto or cotto.
but do you realize that there were no negotiations ? that nothing was offered by team pacquiao ? how can it be legitimate negotiations when they do not contact the person or his team whom they want to sign the contract with.

Jesus, you Floyd apologists are shameless. You are CASTIGATING Arum for being professional now? Would you rather he came out and slung cursewords at Floyd? You idiots, go jack off over a Floyd poster
Arum was professional? He out-and-out LIED TO YOU.

Oscar himself said last month a deal was very near to being done (http://www.thesweetscience.com/boxin...ny-fight-plan/). Soon after Arum confirmed Golden boy were happy with the terms. Arum and Greenburg have been pushing for the fight. Since Oscar said the terms were very near, we haven't heard from Golden boy - so if the terms had suddenly gone from 'very very near' to 'no, not near, Arum is a lying scumbag!' surely they would have told us so?

Its ESPN amd wilbon who only talk boxing when floyd is involved. Its haters on this board that hate floyd yet use part of his name in their screen name. Its the casual fans that tune in to 24/7 when floyd is on and don't watch when he isn't. They all made floyd that big. Don't blame him blame them

The game has changed. don't be mad that floyd has taken advantage of it. I mean Julio Ceaser Chavez Jr. generates more money than any top 10 fighter except floyd, manny, and maybe cotto. Thats crazy!

I feel your frustration but lets be real. Manny wants to fight because he stands to make 3x his biggets payday. floyd wants to fight but only on his terms. This is how its always been. We just didnt have the same behind the scenes access we do now.
Though it would be natural for me to automatically put the blame on Floyd jr., the truth is that even according to Bob, this isn't the end of any possibility of the fight.

So i'm just gonna wait and see. Besides. I still haven't heard Floyd's side of this situation. I'll wait til i know ALL the facts first in this case before making any definite conclusions.

One thought though. Floyd jr keeps on harping about how he'll easily earn $40 mill. I wonder who he could challenge other than Pac which could generate him that kind of dough. (assuming the fight DOESN'T push through)

Oscar meant to say the deal is going down. "Done" and flushed...

Whoa Whoa there fella...calm down. You took what I said completely outta context. I said I think Pac is too small for 154 and would only go up there for a belt. I'm only repeating what his team has been saying so no need for the insults. I'm out because it seems a few posters woke up a little "sore" this morning....peace.

BTW I must really get to you Imdazed because you mention my name any chance you get. Now what did I do this time to get under your skin?

                - Terms that Golden Boy were certainly happy with (Oscar last month said the deal was very near to being done, indicating that they had obviously CHANGED from the last negotiations on the drug testing issue)

                - Terms that certainly included a revised provision on drug testing (Manny said 14 days would be fine recently, soon after Arum said they had agreed to the drug testing issue and money split (with HBO and presumably GBP since Oscar said the deal was very close)

However, GBP CEO Richard Schaefer said in a report by FanHouse.com on Friday, that De la Hoya was merely misquoted.

"I spoke to Oscar and I wanted to know where that came from and he said that he was misquoted," said Schaefer.

"I saw those quotes as well, and I had no idea what Oscar was talking about. And I called him up and asked him about them," he added
