And the last I checked Margarito fought Mosley free on hbo. Cotto fought Foreman free on hbo. So what is this big ppv attraction bull**** talk? Pacquiao fighting an undefeated young and hungry fighter wouldn't be an attraction? Give me a break Arum don't wanna lose his cash cow.
i agree that i would love to see pacquiao in there with bradley or any of the top 140ers. Paul Williams not so much, dude is just too damn tall for almost any welterweight, will he just rematch martinez already? but to correct you, margarito and cotto didnt fight "free" on hbo. hbo is a cable network and they offered money to show a fight and the fighters took that guaranteed money instead of running the risk of losing out on a ppv show. i think pacquiao needs to get in there with some tough, young, hungry fighters too, but that doesnt mean what arum said isn't true. i mean, look at williams last fight at the home depot center in carson, ca. the place was almost empty. and all i could think of was, none of these guys are hometown fighters, what was the promoter thinking?

        not surprised about Williams
dude not getting fights at 147 pounds
        wouldn't mind Pac-Bradley though
surprised Pac kept Ring belt at 140 all this time
but of course Tony or Cotto fights priority for Arum to make

Let Williams beat a top guy at 147 first so we know he is still good at that weight before we talk about a fight with Manny.
I don't think any reasonable boxing, will ever expect a 5 foot 6 Manny to ever fight at middle weight. SMH.

Pacquiao doesn't fight for the fans. He fights for himself. The only fight he has taken on a level playing field that wasn't viewed as a forgone conclusion within the last few years was JMM. And Arum needs to get the fuck out of here with this **** of free loading. Cotto hasn't done a damn thing besides get beat up by Clottey and conquer a British Rock drummer and a Hebrew peg leg. And Margarito? Pacquiao would've never fought the version who was on top of his game and I will always believe that.

I never believed either guy was ever really in the running in the event of a Floyd balk. Bradley may have been at one point, since that's the only reason for Pac not to have dropped the Ring title previously. But his mind is set on WW-JMW, so he needs to forfeit that title already. Williams if healthy at the weight would fuck Pac up anyway. Arum would never take that risk. And Bradley, even if he beats Abregu, is unproven at 147, so no point to fighting him at that weight.

I honestly think anything over 150 is pushing it for Manny regardless of the opponent. Now if he want's to go for a record 8th belt...cool, I'll support him even though I don't think it's a smart idea.

What kind of fucking question is that?! Are you serious man? **** Mayweather is beltless and? I mean since when does the belt make the fighter? There is no challenge in rematching Cotto and facing Margarito; no challenge at all. Beating Paul Williams or Martinez at 154 is a bigger feature then beating both Cotto or Margarito. That's not even an opinion, that's factual. Belts don't mean a thing man, **** we have 2 title holders at 147 and I don't even know their names.
honestly man I sound like a broken record and I feel you have an agenda.

Listen for the 1000 time. Manny will only go up to 154 for an 8th belt. He has no business at that weight at all and the shot at making history, along with a good pay day, is what will make him even attempt that. Hell he had a chance to beat up Foreman for his strap, but he said 154 is too much then. Again why do you want him to fight two MW's when he just got to 147 recently, and fought at 130 not even 2 years ago. Let's get real and quick the flaming bull****. If you feel belts don't mean a thing then cool, but I know for a fact that most people wont give a **** who he fought only that he has 8 titles in 8 classes. Honestly 7 outta those 8 were rating in the top 5 in their division at the time. Take away Diaz and its 6 in the top 3.

                      Is Judah a free ride?

If Bradley is still a free rider, then how bout dropping down to 140 and defending against Judah? Can't call him a free rider. Can't say he wouldn't bring as many or more ppv buys than Cotto or Margocheato.
