Cotto - Coming off a brutal KO loss to Margarito
Hatton - Coming off a brutal beating from Floyd
De La Hoya - Fought an entire division below his natural weight
David Diaz - NOBODY considered him #1 at Lightweight

This is what's makes me laugh when people say Pacquiao fights the best and Floyd picks his opponents. Floyd always fought people when they were champions and in their prime. Whenever he moved up he always fought the lineal WBC champions and beat them all.

I dont blame Arum for this, All promoters in his shoes would do the same...Either other fighters get themselves into a mandatory position or they would never get a chance at those guys, No one in boxing gives you a free pass.......Pavlik had to wait and do things the hard way before he got his chance at Taylor so i dont expect anyone to get a chance like that easily.
