Not everyone is a star and not everyone has the bank accounts and connections Arum has.

It's really easy for a promoter to promote a fighter when you have money and connections. DLH can promote his fighters because they have the money and connection. The main reason why Arum and GBP are the top two promotion companies is because they both have money and connections. Who else has the same money like Arum and GBP and have connections with networks?

Pacquiao said he's fighting for legacy and he wants to fight the best.

TS I know you not big on P-Dubb but did you catch Arum all of sudden pick up a thick stutter when that dude mentioned Williams.

      ****ing hilarious.

Bobby in a nut shell said ONLY Cotto or Margarito.

Why Bobby? They are not the best.

So Pacs ONLY options are a guy with no license for a vacnat 8th title or a guy he utterly destroyed 2 fights ago at a catch weight for an 8th title.

      Disgraceful.

        I kinda concur with Arum...

He puts in alot of work with his stable...he gets them big fights, he bank rolls and makes big gambles, some that pay off and some that don't

None of these other promoters turn these guys into stars...when you look back...most of the big names, big attractions have come from TR...DLH, Mayweather and all them were built up from Arum...he's tired of people piggy backing off his work just to steal a pay day...

I think Arum would be less reluctant to put top dudes with his most cherished possession if they too were putting in work and making these guys house hold names. It was actually quite refreshing for him to say...telling these cats that if they want Manny, they need to put in work

He got real nervous when the reporter asked him about Bradley and Williams.

                    Cmon man!!

                    **** outta here.

What "work" did Joshua Clottey put in? Not to mention Pac made 15-20 Mill with him.

So its no excuse for no Bradley, Martinez or Williams fight.

Floyd and DLH became more popular and made more money when they left Arum. Floyd became a superstar when he left Arum.

How can you promote fighters when other promoters don't want your own fighters fighting their best fighters? Guys like EM, MAB, and JMM gave Pacquiao a chance when he wasn't a superstar to make a them for himself.

Williams would be a bigger star if guys at 147 would be willing to fight him. Can't blame a guy when other fighters don't want to fight him.
