He told me he sort of mistakingly deleted the first one, and that someone else jumped on the second one. Mind you it was the first post on pacquiao and Mayweather I have made in ages, had no bias whatsoever, and was made out of legitimate concern. It was meant to foster discussion and both got shut down. I recieved an appology for the first one, but the second one got shot down faster than a black hawk in Mogadishu.

The premise is actually pretty simple, you either fight the best or you cherrypick.

You can play little games with yourself all you want, but when it comes down to it, his best win is a 38 year old man.
A premise in a discussion between two people is something we can both agree on, not your subjective opinion.

        For example,

Topic: What makes the earth round?
Premise: Earth is round (we both agree)
Horus Argument: The earth is round because blah blah
Jack Argument:The earth is round because blah blah

Now in your case, we could never have a discussion because you would
argue that the earth isnt round. Therefore we could never have a premise.

So too bring it back. If we are talking about Mayweather vs. Pacquiao
How can we have a discussion when the first thing you say is

"He's done this his whole career. This is just another duck in a long line of ducks by this guy."

When the guy you are supporting by default has the same problem by your standards!!

DUCKing fighters. a long list of them.

So instead having a discussion we end up having a flame war because you refuse to particpate in actual conversation.
Where there is a premise invovled

I know for a fact I give Pacquiao more credit than you ever give Floyd.

@ you actually saying you give floyd the benefit of the doubt..!!
wow, Rav you really got nerve.
Makes no difference to me, I'm not bias towards Floyd like you are, and I'm not bias towards Pacquiao like many are on this site. As it stands, it's not Pacquiao that looks like the one who doesn't show interest in the fight. Silence can be your enemy as well as your friend, but it's obviously not working in Floyd's favor when ESPN (who barely cover Boxing to begin with) are mocking Floyd for being dormant about signing on to fight.

Look, for all we know Floyd could sign the contract and all this drama will be over with. Until then, expect a lot of backlash if the fight isn't signed. Plus, put yourself in Pacquiao fans shoes if the roles were reversed. Considering how you've gone at Pacquiao fans in the past, I can't see how you wouldn't be posting crazy headlines about why Pac won't sign or why he's scared. It goes both ways (thankfully for me my bias is with neither guy).

My response was about you being sincere about giving Mayweather the B.O.D
I have yet too see a post of yours actually doing that since I have been on this site..

That is what this is about. Nothing else.

See the difference between me and you is that I don't masquerade behind academic terms of objectivity.

You pretend to be objective by writing out long posts that are meant to distort and confuse the issue. Boxing is not complicated.

You either fight the best, which Pacquiao clearly has, especially at the lighter weights.

Or you don't and cherrypick opposition with the help of your connections at HBO.

I respect fighters who risk it against the best. If that means you take a loss, so be it. You respect the gaudy record despite the fact that its a hollow illusion that was carefully crafted.

If you want to live your life in such a superficial way, then by all means.

But the truth is evident. At least to most people.

It's obviously Mayweather. You don't have to be a genious not to know this. Pacquiao has never been a hard guy to make a fight with.
