Margarito took something from the Cotto/PR fans that night and no matter what that is what it has been since the win. Excuses after excuses.

It does not have anything to do with Ricans, it has to do with trying to cheat or cheating. How many ricans posted on the forum defending Resto? None, that I have seen. Many individuals in this forum at one time, were Marg's fans, and now they do not have any respect for him, not for cheating on Cotto, which has not been proved, but for trying to cheat against a 38 yr old man. If Nazeem did not find those wraps, do you think Marg would had enter the ring and would have had a change of heart? Hell no, he would have entered the ring and assaulted SSM with illegal wraps. That, is unacceptable in the eyes or real boxing fans, not nuthuggers. You want to play it out and write that ricans are butt hurt, b/c that will make you feel better about being a fan of a person that tried to cheat against a 38 yr old man. If Nazeem had not found the wraps, Marg would have cheated against SSM plain and simple. Marg should not have the opportunity to go and make millions, when there are plenty of fighters out there that are trying to get to where Marg was at one time, without trying to cheat.

He my of assaulted someone if the Pads were indeed intended to be used as a weapon. Like I said before several fighters and trainiers including mosely himself have said the inserts were most likely there to protect his hands. And even if that was the case they were still illegal and he still deserves to be suspended.

If the wraps were to protect Marg's hands, why did Marg acted like he did not know? He knew he had problems with his hands if he was trying to protect them. Why not come out and admit it at the time of the finding? He knew it was illegal to use anything else than what you are supposed to be using. Marg chose to deny any knowing of the wraps, but if it is to protect his hands, you can tell the difference when having them and when not having them. Just when I thought that you was intelligently defending Marg and gave you a small amount of credit, you post this, very mature by the way.
