Yeah and sometimes innocent people are found guilty so maybe he's telling the truth. If he indeed is telling the truth you don't expect him to lie just to make you the fan feel better now do you?

I agree but I also understand why people would be turned off to Margarito. He knows what's going on in his wraps, I fought amateur and now train fighters and everything that I wrap and went on my hands I knew 100%.

I don't know if he did it but considering what happed with Resto, it's understandable that people would take this very, very seriously.

The thing is it's not even comparable to Resto. Shane Mosely himself has said in an interview with the Ring Magazine that he thinks that the knuckle pad he had was used to protect his hands and not inflict damage, and Emmanual Steward said the exact same thing in the very same magazine.

I tend to take their observations on that a bit more seriously than I would some of the posters on this board who already disliked margarito to begin with.

we as a commuity should publicly execute Antonio Margarito, that would be a PPV people would be willing to see,

im sure hed last too because hes so good at taking punishment, it wouldnt be like executing amir khan which would be over in seconds,

they would have to probably get out the branding iron to finish him off after they were done beating him

The PPV would be produced by top rank, called Retrobution, Im sure Bob Arum would be down if he knew he could make more money off this than his fights

for the same reason every one is so upset with him...he knows that he lost tons of fans....and my are on the edge....also simple economics.....if he can get a larger portion of dollar paying fans on his side.....PPV, ticket sales, etc would all go up and the potential to make money is what can get the Comish folks to soften their stance.....money makes the world go round....in this case...simple econ 101.....supply and demand.....if there is plenty of demand...the supply will follow almost 99.9% of the time.....

My opinion is that he knew already. If he admitted it and said sorry, that would make me begin to forgive him, but he will never fully redeem himself in my eyes after unfairly ruining the career of the person who I think would be #2 P4P if the fight had not happened (Miguel Cotto).
