Not completely, but it would go a long way toward me thinking of him as a human being again. A lot would depend on my acceptance of his admission and contrition; i.e. whether I felt his remorse was genuine or merely a show in the hopes of garnering support in the furtherance of his career. In no way would I accept him as a boxer ever again, though. It would not change my opinion about his punishment. He should be banned permanently.Comment

Not really. We'll never now if he actually knew about the plaster or not. But no, an excuse doesn't really matter to me.Comment

the very SIMPLE fact is, if he was indeed cheating with anything actually remotely close to plaster of paris he would be banned for life. no need for a hearing, no need for ****
this whole fiasco was the CSAC saving face for not "catching him cheat" while "brother" ****m caught himComment

He ****ed up. Ohh well. I'm just not the type of person to keep trashing an individual for the things they did in the past.
Ray Robinson has sex with an under aged girl and was forced by her mom to Marry the girl
Jake LaMotta was pimping and prostituting out under aged girls.
Tyson was accused of raping a girl and sexually assaulting other women as well
Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather, and several other fighters were woman beaters
Monzon, I'm my memory serves me right, killed his wife or some dumb**** like that
Valero was a drug addict, beat his own mom and sister up, and beat the **** out of his wife constantly
I could go on, but the thing is that these are far worse crimes than some hand wrap bull****. If someone says other wise they are lying to themselves and have an agenda against Margarito.Comment
