    floyd-jmm was floyd's first fight back after a 2-year layoff...gimme a break.

and WHO thought floyd-mosley would end up as one sided as it was? sure you may have thought floyd would win a UD....but NOBODY saw 11-1 coming.

fact is, the same ppl who looked at clottey's style, and saw manny beating him easily, are the same ones that will look at margarito's 1-dimensional, slow ass, and understand he'll be in for a beating also. especially, minus his wraps.

will it break any records? no.

will it do a million? doubtful.

      but it'll still sell.

people forget 300-400k ppv is great number in boxing. that's $15-20 million in revenue on ppv alone.

hell margarito-cotto was very successful and it only did what 500k?
I think it does a million pacquiao brought in 700K against Clottey all on his own. Also that fight had NO marketing, no 24/7, and these fools didn't even have a commercial or posters at the all star game a few weeks befor ethe fight.

Puerto Ricans will most likely pay for the fight too as well as Filipinos and Mexicans. I am sure the curious African american Market who is longing to see Pac fight Floyd will curiously be ordering it too. IMDAZED, you do not represent ****.

They won't have any of that this time; they won't have as much ESPN coverage; they won't have much of anything this time. Margarito is not the powerhouse he was when he fought Cotto.

dude, this is boxing...you have one huge name and you have another name that's recognizable, you know it'll do good numbers

the casuals dont sit in message boards and know every freekin detail...they see 2 names they recognize and chances are, they'll wanna watch

****, you have Floyd vs a 107yr old Shane doing over a million...that's because you have one huge name and another that people recognize
In this case, Mak...the fact that people know Margarito is a NEGATIVE.

Co-sign, Margarito without plaster is a club fighter and would follow the trend of Pac being very well matched since Marquez 2. Just because Arum says its a done deal doesn't mean it is, it just means he has no class.
