It's not Arum alone who submitted a proposal, but also GBP (who promote Floyd).

If Floyd doesn't sign the contract, he's taking a big risk in having Pacquiao lose his next fight, thus killing his own mega fight in the process. But yet, this is all Bob Arum's fault?
LOL all these dumbass nutthuggers are going to be eating their words if FLoyd signs @ 50/50, a number that appears (according to leaks) to have already been agreed on.

Why is it when floyd fans use facts like live gate and ppv sales to make points to prove manny fans wrong its right to the name calling and other BS?
Meh, I see Clottey as a last minuet tune-up. There was almost no promotion, no 24/7 nothing. All it had was the stadium and that was more of a backroom deal between Arum and Jones. I gut what you mean but seriously, Pac/Clottey was only 100k off of Pac/Hatton and there's no comparison between their following. I just don't think it was a huge flop, less than expected but we're still talking 3/4 of a million buys against an unknown.

Bob Arum doesn't care what the fans want. He'll just keep putting Pacquiao in with other Top Rank fighters, so he's gets all the money and can be in complete control.

I don't think Cotto-Pacquiao II is an interesting fight. There's no need for a second fight because Pacquiao won the first decisively.
You do realize Mayweather hasn't fought a non-GBP fighter in a long ass time? Longer than its been since Pac fought a non Top rank fighter.

But it doesn't work like that and you know it. That HBO wouldn't invest in the 24/7 is telling. They knew it was a stinker. The fact pac couldn't get as much as floyd with hatton is also telling. I know you like manny but when your last fight doesn't make as much as the previous one its a failure. No different than music, movies, or other entertainment.

I didn't use dates because I don't remember who people's promoters were but...Mayweather hasn't fought a non GBP fighter since at least '05. Its been since '08 that Pac fought Marquez (a GBP fighter). Both are taking on stable mates because they're viable fights and easy to make.

The reason Floyd hasn't fought a Top Rank fighter is because Arum is a bitter fool, who is annoyed Floyd left him.
Hence the reason, he offered **** money for a fight with Margarito and Cotto.

Hence the reason, he is making this fight as difficult as possible to make because he knows first hand how could Mayweather is as he used to promote him.

Do you know anything about boxing? lol

The bitterness goes both ways...and Top Rank isn't the only other promotion company out there...don't you know anything about boxing?

When bob had floyd he said his skills were better tahn ali and leonard. Bob knows how good floyd is. When was the last time Bob promoted a bronze medal winning olympian?

Bob IMO isn't worried about manny losing. he's worried about manny looking bad when he loses like pavlik did. Manny loses a good fight he is still marketable. If floyd gives another 10-2 or 11-1 a$$ whoppin manny could lose value.
