their plan is to pressure floyd to sign the deal as a deadline come to expire, and if floyd rejects the deal we are clean he is the one who doesn't want to fight, we did all that we can do to ensure the deal. but you know what is the funniest thing floyd doesn't give a **** about them and about the media that write all kind of stuff, he doesn't run to media and justify his silence about the contract that was sent to him. that why i respect floyd in this case, he is not ***** like arum and his followings.

floyd jr should fight manny...not marg..not miguel..
IF FLOYD WOULD BEAT MANNY WITH HIS olympic style blood testing FLOYD WILL PROVE HIS ACCUSATION THAT THE PACMAN IS IN ROIDS..ON THE OTHERHAND IF PAC WHOOP HIS ASS..PACQUIAO WOULD BE VINDECATED..
IT SEEMS THAT FLOYD HAS SWALLOWED HIS TONGUE WONT TALK A BIT BOUT THE FIGHT EVERYBODY WANTS TO SEE..
IF FLOYD BELIEVE HE DESERVES THE LION SHARE OF THE FIGHT..WHY NOT GAMBLE WHO EVER WIN THE FIGHT WOULD GET THE LION SHARE..CAUSE HIS SO CERTAIN THAT HE WOULD WOOP PACS ASS...JUST MAKE THE FIGHT HAPPEN PLS

is that cool?
That's five years that it took for him to face a future HOF welterweight, compare that to how long Pac has been at welterweight? About close to 2 years?
In that time he's faced ranked 147lb opponents like Cotto (albeit a lesser version of himself but still quality opponent) and Clottey, both of whom have been competitive with everyone they have ever faced, including each other...would you agree?
No one has ever truly dominated either man, Pac dominated both. Margarito had problems with Clottey, Pac didn't. Cotto and Clottey's match was highly competitive. Pac dominated both, albeit a less fresher version of Cotto but still highly capable (another future HOF), and has managed to face two ranked top fighters at 147 in under 2 years, how long has May been at 147? Pac just became a welterweight like yesterday!
I'm joking obviously but you get my general point, some people become way to sensitive about this issue. Point is to see things in the context of how long each man has been at welterweight and who they've faced in that span of time at 147, and then conduct a fair comparison.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 07-14-2010, 10:03 AM.

I don't like how they gave Floyd a deadline I understand eventually you have to move on and fight somebody else but Floyd has a big ego and he prolly took that as disrespect

We're still trying to make the fight with Mayweather happen, but just in case it doesn't we have opponents and locations decided upon, sounds like some bull**** to me.

Since we're arguing semantics, Mayweather fought a 38 year old version of Mosley. Then the counter will be, well Mosley dominated Margarito, then the semantics creep back in and we can counter that Margarito had other pressing issues on his mind, like hand wraps and was facing distractions. Point still remains the same.
