yes, in a PR sense... it was a mistake to admit avoiding shane & p-will.... team pac shouldve done what floyd does & say they werent big enough PPV draws. LOL.

I still don't think Manny and Roach want any part of Shane. Shane just called Manny out once again to no avail. They are focused on Cotto 2 and Cheato (a guy who's not even licensed). If Floyd doesn't fight Martinez I expect Shane to fight him and wouldn't be surprised to see Shane pull it off although I would favor Martinez. I have a feeling Shane still has a big win in him. Team Pac couldn't do the Floyd thing and justify fighting Clottey and now Margacheato? Hell no, that wouldn't work.

Manny would get slammed if he fought Shane now. But let's face it, he deserves to get slammed for pretending his only other options aside from Floyd are Cotto and Margarito - two guys he definitely shouldn't be fighting.

Blame the promoters, blame the networks. They killed it, just like video killed radio.

Not now, not ever! It's going to be a close fight because of PACS will to win. His tolerance for pain, and his violent approach to winning. He's willing to die in that ring. Is FLOYD??? And guess what, if he sings and is only concerned about MONEY, MANNY GONNA TAKE HIS 0! I'll bet all my points on it. What he doesn't realize, is that MANNY don't have to attck him all night. He can box with FLOYD and pick his spots the same way FLOYD can because of his speed and ring intell. It won't be easy. COTTO would also give FLOYD hell right now. His JAB, body punching, ring intell., and his improved balance and defense would make a great fight for even PAUL WILLIAMS. Don't let the media and what these fighters say confuse you. These are world class atheletes, and that's as fair as I can state it.

Had to respond to this hilarious ****. Manny boxing with Floyd? Your definitely on something. Manny will get picked apart. Manny hasn't been affectively boxed since Marquez and Floyd is a bigger, stronger, smarter, faster, more accurate, better defensive Marquez. I agree Floyd will handle Manny quite easily. Waiting for Floyd to make a mistake in Manny's case will be suicidal. PBF KO within 8.

I don't agree with the possible Cotto/Margarito fights. But slammed if he fought Shane? C'mon. 1--no way. needs no further explanation than that. 2--should that fight happen, *****s would have a field day saying Pac is just picking on another defeated fighter.

it's a lose-lose situation, which sadly is too often the case in boxing and their fans. too many excuses one way or another...

                  Wow look, a boxing question!

I don't know. However, we said the same thing the first time negotiations failed. "He's gonna fight a bum!" "He's definitely not going near Mosley!" Floyd may surprise us like he did then. But my guess would be that he takes the rest of the year off if he doesn't get Pacquiao.

It's better to fight the man who destroyed Cheato than to fight Cheato. This is the same BS move he pulled in fighting Cotto instead of Mosley and I know the vicious KO loss is the reason why.
