Floyd says he does not think his opponent can beat him. This is not unique to floyd as no fighter thinks the other can beat them. When floyd (or any fighter) says this the statement is not a reflection of the opponent, rather, it shows the mindset one should have when they enter the ring to fight.

No matter who floyd fights, just like ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL FIGHTER, he feels the other guy can't beat him. So if he fights manny, ODH, ali, chop chop, tyson, cotto, ivan calderon, JMM, hatton, duran, hagler, mosley etc etc. HE DOESN'T THINK HE WILL LOSE. It's called confidence in himself.

Again if you think he will only pick future opponents he can beat and use as the basis for your opinion the fact that he keeps winning then I think most people will question your logic.

So I understand you correctly if he fights manny its only because he thinks manny can't beat him? Is that correct?
