Before you call Briggs a quitter maybe you should refresh your memory....didn't vitali QUIT vs Byrd & vs maskaev in the amateurs? I'm not bashing klitschko but you need really think before you speak....Briggs was a 3 pound baby & wasn't suppose to live but he survived,his health issues throughout his career were suppose to end it before it started & he still won a world title...I'd say he is an overachiever not an underachiever...Briggs has had his issues but still he carved out a solid career fir himself when he was never suppose to amount to anything.yes he lacked dedication but remember the klitschkos were brought up in privilege & never had to struggle in life.they were groomed to be athletes from day one in the old soviet regime....Briggs is from Brownsville...do the math before you crap all over him.

Vitali beat Arreola and so did Adamek. So seeing them fight each other is interesting to me.

Like i've said before, would love to see Vitali vs Solis. Solis would be a good match-up for Vitali.

Before getting a title shot, Briggs needs to show that he can go more than 1 or 2 rounds without gassing out.

He did say that he has his asthma under control but he needs to prove it first. Since he came back, he has won all his fights but they all went 1 round. First, get an opponent(competition) that can go the rounds with him.

This is one of the problems with the heavyweight division. You fight bums and avoid any serious competition and then you're rewarded with a title shot? WTF? Sam Peter, Shannon Briggs, Oldlanier Solis et al are on the sidelines right now waiting for that coveted title shot after fighting C level opponents. Why can't they fight any serious competition before cashing in?
