Way to go. Your argument sucks so all you can resort to is "he got knocked out by Hearns at higher weights" (which by the way has nothing to do with his lightweight career), and you hope that will make anyone think that you know what you're talking about. Honestly, you should stop posting about boxing in general, it's a waste of your time.
This isn't a few people in a forum. This is widely renowned information. It's just common knowledge that Duran is, all things considered, the best lightweight of all-time, and if not the best on a few peoples list he's easily the second or third. Besides, these few people in the forum know a lot more about boxing than you do.
Ass licking is reserved for no-argument imbiciles like yourself. Go bury your head in the sand and do us a favor.Comment

Best lightweight of all time, the only good lightweight he has beaten was Esteban De Jesus, which he lost the first fight. Name one legendary lightweight boxer that he has beaten. I will pick Esteban De Jesus over Duran. Don't tell me about knowledge dumbass, because you talk out of your ass. Please do me favor & end yourself.
Well I just ended myself and I got a life about 2 minutes ago, but you're still the douchebag with inferior arguments.

That list is a joke, those 5 members from the press are crackheads just like yourself. Not knowing **** about boxing. You couldn't even answer my question, about the legendary lightweight that Duran has defeated. I don't need the press help to make my opinion. I guess you just go what ever the press tells you. Lennox Lewis is considered one of the Top 5 heavyweights of all time, you think I agree with that. Lewis & Duran are overrated.
I'm glad you have your own opinion, but it sucks.
I don't have to name a legendary lightweight that Duran beat, because that's really not criteria to be considered. A nice bonus maybe, a must no.
Duran beat:
Kobayashi (former 130 champ, great Japanese fighter)
Buchanan (great lightweight and 135 champ at the time. Beat Laguna x2 and Ortiz who are both all-time great lightweights)
DeJesus (great lightweight and former 135 world champ. DeJesus holds wins over Saldivar, Lampkin, Duran, and took Cervantes to the limit)
Ishimatsu (former Japanese 135 WBC titlist whos been in with Buchanan, Laguna, Gonzalez)
Lampkin (top ranked 135 contender, tough battles with DeJesus)
Thompson (tough aussie titlist)
Among those wins were a bunch of other game contenders like Viruet and Mamby. He made 11 consecutive defenses of the WBA title and had a lightweight career record of something to the tune of 33-1.
Honestly, if Duran was so overrated, I'd like to see who you consider to be the greatest lightweight ever. I didn't use that list as a means to form my opinion, it's just to show your dumb ass that the majority of boxing fans know that Duran is all things considered the best or second best lightweight ever.Comment
