Mayweather vs Duran: Who would have won at 140?

Corrales power don't even compare to Hearns. Who has Mayweather fought that was as determined, skilled and as vicious as Duran was? I'm a Mayweather fan but he couldn't hang with Duran late in the fight. He would of had his moments early but Duran would of slowly chopped him down. Duran wasn't just some unskilled brawler like most people think. He was very skilled offensively and defensively which is why he was able to be successful in weight classes that were beyond his best weight.

Yea Sugar Ray proved how skilled Duran really was. Actually if you go watch the 1 first Sugar Ray fight which was a brawl, Duran got a gift decision. I have the fights, it was a close fight. But I thought Sugar Ray won both fights against Duran. This is coming from a guy that is not Sugar Ray fan.The second fight Duran quit. Also Duran was beat in his prime by fighter like Kirkland Laing. You telling me Kirkland Laing would've beat Mayweather too.

Are you kidding me, now don't overrate Duran like the crackhead Hatton fans. The only person Duran fought that had power like Chico, was Tommy Hearns. He knocked him out with silly. You also mentioned that Mayweather was hurt against Corely & Castillo, which is not true. Mayweather got hit & showed he doesn't have a glass chin like some other boxers, I've never see Mayweather hurt in my life. I like Duran, but anyone with a little knowledge of boxing will tell you that noway in hell he will ever wins against Mayweather. NO MAS.

Anybody with eyes and a brain that can process logical thoughts can tell you that Corley had Mayweather stunned in the 3rd round and legitimately hurt or stunned in the 4th round. Mayweather did well to take the punch and get out of trouble but he was definitely hurt by the punch.

I had Duran beating Ray 8-7 or something to that effect in their first fight because Leonard fought Durans fight.

I know you're trying to make your argument and all but it's pretty damned weak. Ray Leonard was a better fighter than Mayweather was/is/will be and those fights went down 2 weight classes above Durans best weight. This fight against the inferior Mayweather would be at Duran's best weight and Duran would wear his ass out and KO him.

Corrales isn't even on the same map as Thomas Hearns in terms of boxing or power.

When Mayweather moves up to 160 and gives the recognized champion hell, or moves up to 168 and beats guys like Jeff Lacy while flooring him then you can come with that BS you just came with.

Sugar ray won the brawl & won the NO MAS fight. Go watch the fight again. Duran lost to Esteban De Jesus, Kirkland Laing, Wilfred Benitez & Sugar Ray Leonard all in his prime years. Don't overrate Duran, he was fun fighter to watch, but guys like Myaweather would've had an easy time with Duran. Sugar Ray proved it. Also Duran power wasn't all that great, Sugar Ray brawled with him & should've won the first fight, but Sugar Ray got screwed in that fight.
