Nope. Marquez is too old and slow now and thats the only reason they want to fight him.

I agree. I think Lopez is excellent offensively, but he is woeful defensively.

He is SO open to counters its unbelievable. Marquez by KO with left hook counter off the ropes in the early rounds

Maybe the younger version. This version of Marquez is going to have to walk through a minefield in order to do that.

If Im remembering correctly, Marquez's last fight was a 3 round route in which he looked sensational despite Vazquez being shot, and his fight before that he knocked out a fighter with a counter left off the ropes.

There is NO EVIDENCE that marquez is even remotely shot. He has never looked anything less then great for years now, including in losing efforts to Vazquez.

Marquez is still very much a fighter to contend with.

No way. A prime marquez would definetly do damage to lopez but not the present version of marquez.

The present Marquez is done. I don't think he'll be able to take JuanMa's power. Hope he fights a live opponent..

He looked sensational because Vazquez was shot. And I didn't think he looked that great. He's slowed a bit and while still dangerous, I can see him getting caught early and often by Lopez.

I agree. You can't call somebody shot just because they been in wars or lost to the #1 or 2 P4P best like Cotto & Hatton. Marquez vs Lopez is going to be a ****in war. Just sucks nobody's going to give Lopez any damn credit if he wins but if Marquez wins it'll be the same thing with Cotto after he beat Foreman. It's disgusting.
