And in one day...Cotto becomes the power player in the sport...

He holds much power in the bargaining table...I hope his team doesn't squander it. Margarito was the front runner and now Floyd and Cotto should play it hard. If Floyd doesn't accept whatever terms were sent his way and Team Pac is unwilling to budge, then Cotto holds the cards. If Cotto accepts any catchweights, then he deserves an ass whuppiing. Where would Pac go for that type of money he commands?

Hell, we may even get a Floyd/Cotto fight which is what I prefer...

We'll see...things are going to get real interesting now that Margarito is out of the window and Arum is pissed because 1/2 of his negotiating ploy is out of the table. Floyd knows that the buying public won't accept Cotto/Pac 2.

I think Foreman is no better than Garcia to be honest. Only difference is he had a title. I don't really think Margarito or Cotto deserve a shot at Pacquiao if you want me to be fair about it. But if I had my choice I'd rather see a Margarito-Pac fight, and I know that this is gonna cause us to have to sit through another catchweight sparring match of where Cotto will just go in and collect a paycheck and retire opening his sporting goods store selling knee pads.

If I were Cotto, I don't fight either one. Yes, I know it's the money-making business but I don't like the idea of him fighting yet another elite fighter so soon coming off a loss. Maybe Margarito? I don't know. But Cotto should take care of Cotto.
