I'm sure 9 out of 10 people here will agree, Haye doesn't deserve 50/50 regardless.

What happened to making a little less money and being a legitimate heavyweight rather than fighting Ruiz and Valuev for the worst belt the heavyweight mix has to offer.
idk about the bottom but money rules everything, if haye makes more money by bringing in lots of pay per view money then why shouldnt get an equal share if HE makes that money

its like you going out to work, earning that money and then giving it to someone else.

they are talking about tv money, haye keeps all eng tv money and the brothers keep the ger tv money. everything else down the middle, i still dont understand how that isnt fair? if the brothers are more popular they will make more money, if haye is more popular he will make more money?

its all about the ppv buys, haye brings the money, why should he give it to someone else when he brought it

How is that not fair? I'll tell you why. Wlad is the UNIFIED undisputed ring heavyweight champion. He deserves more than 50/50, but that's what he's offering.

Shameful. Haye isnt popular enough to command 50-50.

Which is what he was OFFERED. He should have taken it but instead they make excuses about the purse split. Haye isnt the bigger draw, However they do it he will make more money than he has ever made. So to me this is abit pathetic, Especially when you consider that Haye used to claim the Klitschko's were ducking him.

I thought Haye wanted the fight? He can't make concessions to make the fight and make more money than he ever has or ever will?

And Haye does not seem to realize that if he legitimately beats Wlad, with no odd circumstances/cut/dodgy decision etc then he will suddenly be seen by most people as the number one heavyweight in the world. At that point he gets to dictate terms, ask for the lion's share of the purse etc. to his heart's content. It seems to me that Haye is not at all confident of winning, otherwise he would not be seeking to secure his financial future off just this one fight. It's almost as if he expects to lose it. It is not as though the deal on the table is bad at all, he's making a mint with the deal offered. And I agree with the posters who say that Wlad, as the clear champ, has the right to expect a bigger share of the pie than Haye, if there is to be any discrepency. As it stands, it is virtually a 50-50 split, millions for each of them. Considering Wlad has taken on all comers from the top 15 of the last few years, and Haye's best win at heavyweight is probably still Monte Barrett (before you mock me for that at least Haye had to come of the canvas in that one, which is more character than he has shown in his other heavyweight outings - imho he lost the Valuev fight and Ruiz was washed up (and was never that good in the first place). So in light of all that, I think that the deal being offered by Wlad is better than I would expect in Haye's position. Booth is making his regular excuses. Haye is not taking the fight as he won't take risks, and this fight would be likely to end with Haye flat on his back asking who won.

Am sure they couldnt agree to a deal according to what both camp have came out with, Am just baffled why each fighter cant keep the PPV money from their respective country, I dont think thats too much to ask or understand.

it doesnt matter about titles, it matter about who makes the money. it used to be out legacy.

like i said, if you earn 1,000, would you give someone else of the money you earned or would you prefer if they go earn their own money instead?

thats what I am saying, the hate for Haye is clouding logic. if they agreed to 50-50 then why cant they jsut keep the money they earn from their countries?

haye has been wrong in the past for getting out of contracts and I have given him stick but he has done nothing wrong here, its the brothers who are in the wrong imo
