Excuse me? did you even read the rest of OP?

I didn't write it. It was a quote from another poster. If you want to red K someone, do it to this poster:

I just wish we didn't ever have catchweight fights. It is bad enough with so many titles within each division, without then having fights in a grey area between divisions. Some people are just too different in size to make a fair match. And if there is a gulf in size, and people still want to make the fight, let them make it at an established weight category and well done the little guy if he proves that talent can overcome size. Catchweights are another thing that restricts new fans coming into the sport. Also, fights fought at catchweights are often not great, as the catchweight has been used to fudge a fight between two people who really ought not to be fighting.

What question do you want answered, who wrote that respond or the thoughts on Pac accepting Mayweather's demands?

What's to make sense? It's easy....If Pac adheres to Floyd's ridiculous demands then Pac is dumb and Floyd is great.

                Not my assumption. This posters:

Talk about anything boxing related here. Where the boxing discussion is always Non Stop!

I had to resurrect the thread because I couldn't find it within all the pages of NSB. Someone gave me this link after I posted the thread.

You should bump the link because you'll be directly answering the poster that wrote it.

Probably all of it. Why is it okay for Manny to make demands and be considered in the right while Mayweather is considered to be 'ducking' for making demands.

I suppose I can answer a little of it, but then that would only open up another discussion on why and how the onus is on Manny to prove to the public that he is clean. His fans do not want to accept it. I will lay it out very briefly.

The reason that I think they are somewhat justified in playing down the demands that Manny (or camp) made of Cotto is that those are accepted or time honored ways of doing business. Mayweather's OST is new and was unprecedented I believe.

Now, as to Manny proving to boxing fans that he is clean I admit it is not fair. But the fans pay to see him fight and without us he would have no fame, fortune or glory. He is living a privileged life and that is the price that comes with celebrity: scrutiny. He can either bow out of boxing, or be forever hounded by a public that ponders his integrity. In a twisted sense, it is a compliment. 'You're so good, we think something is up. Could you prove that you are operating on innate talent, work ethic and brilliant coaching?'

I dunno, but I do not see anything wrong with that. Perhaps if Mayweather were less abrasive about it...

I cede that Mayweather had an agenda for stipulating the OST as part of the contract. I also think that, if implemented well, this could help honesty keep pace with technology.

In my humble estimation, this is due to the lack of the AUTHORITY of the NSAC to enforce any kind of laws that would govern the sport of fighting. This would prevent who "demanded" what to other boxers.

With policies intact, there should be a uniformly enforced that is fair, enforceable and practical.
