No. Cotto was hurt with the speed, which contributes to volume. More speed = more punches = volume. He simply couldn't keep up with Pacquiao. He got hit with more punches than he could block, evade, retaliate to. So he eventually crumbled.

Power is what he did to Hatton. Speed is what he did to Cotto.

    Mosley's power >> Pacquiao's power.

Sorry but that is bull****. Volume equates to attrition. Systematically breaking a man down. SPEED is POWER. With raw speed you create velocity, snap, head jarring knockout power. Cotto wasn't hurt because of volume punching... it wasn't attrition. IT was getting buzzed by head jarring shots. He was suddenly caught with a shot that would of put him down at any point in the fight round 1 or 12 which is indicative of true punching power. With the kind of raw speed and snap Pac gets he produces the concussive power in the same way Joe Louis did... Joe Louis didn't have as heavy hands as the likes of Foreman but in terms of true knockout capacity he far surpassed him. This rings true in a comparison between Mosely and Pac. Mosely has heavier hands, he has the ability to impose greater levels of physicality but he is not the same kind of puncher Pac is at all.

              Exactly.

              Mosley is 1 punch kayo.
Pacquiao is many, really fast punches kayo.

In terms of raw brute power, everything based on 1 punch to kayo a person. Mosley has a greater chance of knocking out that person with 1 shot. Which is why he has more power than Pacquiao.

It's not even debateable. Really, it's not. It's like saying Berto has more power than Arthur Abraham.

Pacquiao makes Margarito look foolish until Marg can't take it anymore.

Something like the beating he took from Mosley.

I could see Margarito stopping Pacquiao he seems to big for the guy and has a really high work rate. Pacquiao isn't an elusive guy and he's not the sort of guy who will tie someone up to upset their rythm.

That being said, if Pacquiao faces Margarito, I want Margarito to get knocked out brutally. I don't want to see that cheat earn another pay check through boxing.

How was he ruined when he was coming of two wins? He showed a lot of heart, and toughness against Clottey, thus proving that he was still a solid opponent. Even today he is an elite fighter....

                      This is a fucking mismatch.

12-0 Pacquiao or late stoppage for Pac.

Anyone who think this will be soe epic back and forth battle is just kissing ass and pretending like Pac is taking a stiff challenge.

Prime 05/2006/07 Margarito stops Pac but not this version of Marg.
