In terms of raw brute power, everything based on 1 punch to kayo a person. Mosley has a greater chance of knocking out that person with 1 shot. Which is why he has more power than Pacquiao.

It's not even debateable. Really, it's not. It's like saying Berto has more power than Arthur Abraham.
No Thats not exactly. Manny pacquaio is the guy who posseses the true KNOCKOUT power. He is the more gifted puncher. He Can produce the leverage, snap and velocity that is the mark of a true knockout artist. It is very debateable! George Foreman had more brute power than Joe Louis... Joe louis was the better puncher. He had the speed, leverage, snap and sense of timing to put a guys lights out. Mosely and Pac are 2 very different punchers. Punching power is an element that is viewed as a real enigma in the sport of boxing... some of the least physically imposing people possess that lights out capacity like thomas hearns or bob foster. Its not as simplistic as you are making it out to be.

i see margo trying to walk manny down..manny out speeding margo..but will he be able to outwork margo????ive yet to see manny clinch and he isnt gonna fight going backwards..remember margo throws 100 punches a round aswell..i dont think manny will be able to hurt margo..will margo be able to hurt manny???

this fight would be action packed and interesting to be honest..how do you see this playing out??
Honestly, I see more less the same type of peformance that he was able to put on Oscar. Margarito for me is just to easy to hit, lousy footwork, throws his punchs wildly, and is as slow as a turtle. Speed will be the key to this fight. Margarito is not going to be able to touch Pac. because Pac is going to be using that in-n-out movement to throw quick combinations, and get out range before Margarito can get off. I see Manny playing target practice with Margarito all night long using a combination of lateral movement and a lot of in-n-out movement much the way he did with Oscar. I see Manny turnning this guy all night long exactly the way he did with Oscar. Pac's handspeed, footwork, stamina (another key point for him) workrate, and superior boxing skills are going to be to much for this guy. Cotto was tearing this guys ass apart before he gased and Mosley literally shut this man out with his speed and aggression... Pac's just going to be a smaller version of Mosley; but more less the same performance (IMO). Maybe not the stoppage because Margarito is a guy that is hardheaded as hell and can take a hellva punch, but wide UD should be in order for team Pac.

The only way that i can see Margarito having a remot chance of winning is if Pac can't keep the pace up for a full 12 rounds and tires. Which Pac has shown he has the stamina to go a full 12 rounds without missing a beat, so I don't see that being a problem. Like I said if he uses a combination of the in-n-out movent, lateral movement, counterpunching (when the man throws those wild looping right hands/lazy jab), and speed he should have no problems beating Margarito.

a 39 year old mosley ****d that ass.what makes you think pac won't?
pac has superior hand and footspeed than mosley and has higher work rate.
        margo's too slow.

          Manny ****s him up badly.

Manny is too sharp and fast, plus his footwork is ridiculously fast as well.

Plus the fact that Manny's defense has gotten better too.

You make pretty words but you don't know what your talking about. Not when using what your saying to make a case for Manny and Mosley's power.

Everyone knows Pacquiao's power comes from the ability to throw multiple lightning fast punches that all manage to hold the same power. It's like bulletproof armor, the first 9mm bullet will get caught, put multiple rounds in the same spot and it's going through.

Shane Mosley's power comes from 1 punch. 1 huge bomb. That in itself is more power. A 45cal bullet carries quite the punch, now take a .50 BMG and put it on the same target. That is the difference between Mosley and Pacquiao.

Relating Tommy Hearn's power to Pacquiao's makes no sense either. Tommy Hearns had the ability to put people to sleep with 1 punch. 1 good hit from his right hand and people would go night night.

This isn't talk about Pacquiao having no power. It's talk that Pacquiao's power comes from multiple punches. While Mosley has dynamite in 1 punch. What takes Pacquiao 10-15 consecutive punches, takes Mosley 1 punch to cause. But you for some reason don't see the multiple punches he puts on his opponents to crumble them. I don't know why but for some reason you are.

There is a reason why his opponents all say it was the speed. Even Clottey said it was the speed. Even David Diaz. I'll take the word of his opponents over yours... the spectator.

you have a good point, but cotto has fought mosley, clottey, judah, etc., and cotto says he's never been hit as hard as pacquiao hit him...

Pacquiao dominates Margarito by landing straight lefts to the pit of Margarito's stomach and teeing off on his head whenever he goes upstairs.

Pacquiao will get hit occassionally with Margarito's long right in the process, but it won't be enough. Pacquiao KO8
