the most over looked thing in the whole drug testing fiasco is that people dont realize that fighters could be taking PED's DURING their training camps, not necessarily the night of the actual fight.

maybe pac would be clean as a whistle on the night of the fight, but what about the months and months of training prior to the fight? what if hes using PED's during those hard training days where hes NEVER tested? this would enable him to train 10x harder, 10x longer, 10x faster, etc. he would have limitless cardio, unreal speed, etc. training with these special attributes would help him fight better when he finally gets off the roids. he could be clean as a whistle come fight night, but how would we know if he didnt roid through his whole training camp- which enabled him to train 10x harder?

i guessed you miss the point of the thread. there's a cutoff but they will test a fighter months ahead randomly when they are in training.

if you still push your point about what about the other months of the year? then you're just saying random OST w/in a month or 2 prefight doesnt do any good, and you should be advocating for a year round OST.

you gotta take epo about 3 times a week for 4 weeks with your blood cells multiplying roughly every week

so 14 days isn't enough to do that

Why does Levitt find Landis's allegations so compelling? He describes in great specificity and detail scenarios involving refrigerators hidden in closets, and the precise temperature at which the blood stored in those refrigerators had to be kept; and faked bus breakdowns during which Lance received blood transfusions while lying on the floor of the bus, etc. To make up stories of this kind, with that sort of detail, strikes Levitt as a difficult task.
