May i ask that you go back to the beginning of this thread and please read my original question? The explanation for my question is there as well. If, after reading, you still don't seem satisfied, then nothing else i say will be sufficient and let us end this as the two of us simply not being in the same page.Comment

Actually, i'm quite satisfied with your answers. What i'm waiting for is evidence supporting the OTHER SIDE OF THE DEBATE, which that taking HGH within two weeks actually HAS BENEFITS.
So far, no one has stepped up the plate.Comment

I mean, if we're gonna go that route, every athlete on Earth is under su****ion, and if you can give examples of those "bunch" that aren't named McGwire, Bonds, or Palmero, please do. The known substances that the general public know about are EPO, Anabolic steroids, and HGH for the most part. Many examples of how each of those drugs works and is detected seems to have been covered numerous times going beyond Boxing. But in terms of how it would effect a fighter in an actual match IMO seems more of a risk for the fighter using it as opposed to actually using the drugs to what many skeptics believe gives you the ability to inflict more punishment or to increase your stamina in a fight (which technically still has yet to be proven).
I believe in Pacquiao's situation, the skeptics (similar to Floyd's skeptics) will now forever link Pacquiao somehow to cheating like people saying Floyd is scared of this or that person, even when he proves the critics wrong. I guarantee if Pacquiao has to do blood testing in the Mayweather fight and he comes out clean, people will still find something to pin on him because some can't accept the fact that he's indeed just a naturally gifted fighter.Last edited by RL_GMA; 07-08-2010, 02:40 PM.Comment

Ten pages.
So far, there are plenty of posts showing the use of HGH within two weeks as either useless or counter-productive.
No one has given even ONE evidence showing benefits of using HGH for two weeks right before a fight.Comment

the OP was answered, then the root of what you are getting at was addressed.May i ask that you go back to the beginning of this thread and please read my original question? so im going to say it one more time, i know its alittle hard for you but HGH is a non-issue being that it doesnt benefit fighters on fight night.
the things that does are PEDs that increase stamina and endurance aka BLOOD DOPING
so while you are trying to say "oh, whats the problem with having a 14 day cut off if HGH doesnt benefit a fighter on fight night?"
well, dumbass. b/c whats suspected to be in pacs system on fight night isnt HGH. its EPO and other PEDS used for BLOOD DOPING
get it now? i understand you are trying to be cleaver but we arent that slowComment

So...
Nothing yet....
I'm going to bed right now and will be back in approximately 10 hours.
I hope the other side would have some valid arguments by then.Comment

Sorry for confusing you. The muscle-example was used to illustrate the weakness of your argument that what works well in other sports stands to work equally well in boxing.
Have you ever come across a study that empirically shows the level of improvement in endurance and stamina due to any PED? You can cite any sport, if you want.Comment

Well, you answered my question then. HGH has no benefits whatsoever. Case closed.the OP was answered, then the root of what you are getting at was addressed.

for the record, i NEVER asked the question, ""oh, whats the problem with having a 14 day cut off if HGH doesnt benefit a fighter on fight night?""
Also, i'm not trying to be clever here. I'm just asking a simple question and expect a simply answer.Comment
