If he chooses not to, it'll for the same reason the fight didn't occur the first time: OST.

Goes to show that your a fly-by-night boxing fan. You need to go do some research on the great former world champion Roger "The Black Mamba" Mayweather. Roger is the best trainer in the game. If you think Roger doesn't have a huge amount to do with Floyd's success that comes from your ignorance of who Roger Mayweather is. Roger is like that old mechanic that talks a lot of **** but can fix any car that rolls. Roger is the only other champion Mayweather and a damn good champion at that.

And here I thought you were just a big fan of the word "conjecture".

          Anyway...

That's the bottom line. I think it's a shame, really. But what can you do. The guy wants to know when he'll be tested and Floyd is not going to bend that this time around.

And if you come to find out that Manny agreed to randomized testing, then what? And worse if you come to find out that GPB who is representing Floyd in these negotiations has come to terms (meaning all loose ends were tied) but Floyd still refuses, what would you make of that?

I'd be so happy if he did. But according to Arum...they still want the cutoff/un-randomized. And not only that, are pushing a deadline on top of it.

Ahh see but now we've hit the nail on the head. Many in here including yourself, have dismissed comments made by Arum and I quote "until Floyd himself has spoken on the record, whatever Arum says is meaningless".

But now it seems appropriate to quote Arum, based on the one triangular argument Floyd supporters could make against this fight, which is OST.

My point is either Arum is 100% irrelevant to this discussion, or is relevant to all of it, since he is the only one commenting at this point, not just when it supports someone's narrative (OST).

Either way if Manny agreed to OST, and the purse split (which no fan should really care about it, since they don't see a dime of it) was resolved but somehow Floyd still refuses to sign....WHAT THEN WOULD YOU MAKE OF HIS RELUCTANCE?

Then Floyd is a total clown. What do you take me for? I'm not some big Floyd fan so just stop. Seriously. I'm just telling you like it is. And the fact is, Manny Pacquiao does not want to be randomly tested. If anything different comes out, I'll be elated. I will be the first person here to make a thread and congratulate him for standing up and doing the right thing. In fact, I wish he would. I really do. And it saddens me that he doesn't.

Based on Richard Shaefer's comments I'd say Arum presented a 14 day cutoff and in the neighborhood of 50/50 because I didn't see optimism in Shaefer's reply. This would only come across like playing on Floyd's intelligence and if this is the case because Floyd clearly took 14 days off the table and knows he should get the bigger split. Seems like mind games. I hope I'm wrong.

                    • do we know why mayweather is where he is now? he does not even have to talk at all because we never run out of excuses for him not facing paquiao. well, fact is no matter what we say or do, he'll never take on paquiao. but i think we can do better than that . how about paquiao fight jmm and ssm and if he beats them in much better fashion than mayweather did. it will be as good as we've pulled floyd's pants down for all boxing fans to laugh at.
