I am not saying I believe this story... Plus is not coming from Mayweather camp. How would Arum know how Floyd would feel?

But, my memory is kind of bad right now. Who trained Floyd when Roger was suspended for the Baldomir fight? I know it wasn't Sr... Was it Jeff? Does anybody remember?

          Floyd trains himself.

He could find another pad man to work the mitts with him. Roger ain't teaching him no new ****.

I'm not buying anything yet because all the talk is coming from one side (Pac's team or promotor) however if this is the latest excuse an if this is true it is a very cheap excuse. Not because of the significance of a boxers trainer because i can understand that, but what I don't understand is that PBF's camp knew what Roger was going to face months ago so why start negotiations just to come of with an excuse that you knew was going to happen all along???

Once again, this is IF this is true.

Why not have both fighters at their best with their preferred trainers?

roger in the corner is the way to go, not Sr

How interesting that the side doing all the talking is Pacquiao's side. Now they even speak for Floyd and say he won't go on without Roger.

Yet not a peep about anything from Floyd himself.

The sense of comfort of having his uncle training him maybe.

If I want to see Pac and May fight I want to see them at their best, with their preferred trainers.

What about when Floyd Sr. was having success with Guzman, Dawson, and De La Hoya?

oscar was a finished product by the time sr. got him. dawson fired his ass. & he trained guzman not to make weight vs campbell & caused 2 fighters not to collect a paycheck.

sr. brought up floyd & thought him his foundation but he never trained floyd for any title fights.

sr. never trained a fighter into prominence. roger has only trained floyd into prominence.

                    there's a reason why.

Based on Roger's track record with past assault cases and other criminal charges, there is a good chance that he might do a few months behind bars if convicted in the latest assault case.

Another thread using Bob Arum (of all people) as a spokesperson for Mayweather. Mayweather is an experienced professional that has fought without Roger in his corner with the same results. Since when has Arum become the spokesperson for Mayweather:s team? Mayweather and Arum parted ways a long time ago.
