Floyds manouvers and agenda have been so transparent. Its mind boggling to see how many people have taken the bait. He has played his cards so well. He has manouvered to A) give himself leverage in negotiations b) keep a backdoor open from which he can exit the fight whilst saving face if he decides thats the best course of action. He is shrewd as they come. He orchestrated all this bull**** and the public ate it up. He never mentioned testing, Pac was never doubted... until the public demanded this matchup and it was time to negotiate... next thing you know floyd spontaneously morphs into an anti-drug crusader. This fight could of unfolded seamlessly without any hiccups... Floyd introduced this unprecedented standard and voiced his concern regarding potential drug use for the first time at this point.... the point of negotiation for potentially the most challanging fight of his career. Convienient aint it.
Either way he A) gets out of the fight with convincing a significant portion of the boxing fan demographic that Pacquaio prevented the fight from happening.
B) He agrees to fight and as a result of the circus he has initiated and manipulated he has the psychological edge/leverage.
The thing is Floyd has great talent. There is no denying it. But he doesn't fight anyone available... he doesn't fight all comers... he doesn't strive to achieve at the highest level possible. He isn't cut from that cloth.
