If what the rumors say is true (that Pac was willing to undergo random drug tests for Mayweather), then Cotto should demand them as well...and Pacq should have no problem...but something tells me Cotto is too proud (or foolish) to do so..

of course, the sources of this aren't so trusty, aka top rank lol. but like i said, since the negotiations ended, it makes sense for a final contract to be finished by now
back on topic: the fight should be fun for 5-6 rounds once again but... what's the point? cotto's chances are ridiculously low and we already now the outcome of this ****Comment

pac did sign it. going by several articles, top rank sent the "final" contract to GBP and are waiting for floyd to sign it. the negotiations are already over, so this makes sense

What's sad is that you're dumb enough to think Floyd knew ahead of time Manny was going to weasel out of it.
What's sad is that you're too dumb to realize that Manny could have easily made this a non-issue by saying, "oh, you calling me a cheater? Fine. I'll take the tests, knock your ass out and collect my $40m check on the way out."
What's sad is that you think this was a grand scheme by Floyd yet refuse to acknowledge the illogical and downright su****ious comments, behavior and lies by Team Pacquiao.
That's what's sad.Comment

ImDazed.. you simplistic fool. As above. Its not that simple. Boy are you special. Floyd CERTAINLY would of known that implying that and then making such demands based on that implication would of HALTED negotiations.
Yes Team Pacquaio have replied with nonsense. They engaged in the ******ity. Nonsense from team mayweather was countered with nonsense from team Pacquaio. It's posturing...unfortunately an increasingly common part of professional boxing.Comment

Dude are you serious? This is BOXING. Fights aren't organised over a beer and a brief word. Pac was the champ the biggest thing at that time and a fighter promoted by bob arum. As the percieved biggest thing in boxing, the number one you maintain leverage in negotations.
Floyd mayweather and his camp implying that Pac is a roid user and thus dragging his name through the dirt and subsequent to this demanding unprecented concessions based on this very insult... is not behaviour becoming of a potential challanger eager to fight. It would certainly produce conflict. this 'Just get it in the ring and sort it out that way' is the stuff of ****ing fairy tales. Boxing unfortunately isn't that straightforward... especially when its so heavily influenced by egos, promoters and figures who can be rather questionable characters.Comment

Floyd didnt need to know Pac was afraid of a syringe. That is ridiculous. It has nothing to do with the fking needles. It's about the balance of power in negotiations. His demands were based on what amounts to defamation of character. They were unprecedented and unjustified. Anyone that thinks Floyd was on a genuine crusade to stamp out PED's needs their head checked.Comment

revenge angle might sell it for some people
plus Pac challenge for next record breaking title in 8th division
but unnecessary
Pac beat him too badly for this not to be last ditch replacement fightComment

I got a question, if you don't answer my question I would consider you the biggest ***** ever. Do you really believe in mayweather cleaning the sport of boxing? If so have you seen any of his boxer(mayweather promotion and Golden Girl) take the test? don't include mayweather and shane.
