And Pac still hasnt signed the contract. I believe Team Mayweather has no idea what the hell Arum is talking about.

Arum is just leaking all these **** articles to websites so when Pac ens up fighting Cotto or Marg, Arum can turn around and say " see look Mayweather turned down the fight".

Mayweather nor Pacquiao themselves have to be at the table meeting, but i think it's safe to say both GBP and TR have been meeting about setting the fight up. They'd be idiots at this point not to. I think us asking what the hell is going on is a good sign as opposed to everyone here coming up with their own assumptions based on what both camps have spilled in to the media (which hasn't been much at all the 2nd time around). I expect that we'll hear some confirmation really soon about the fight.

To be fair to both guys, them fighting anyone else besides each other hurts them both. Based on what I've seen so far, I think both parties want to make the fight happen and stand to make a ****load more than fighting anyone else. But also from a business standpoint, you should always have your Plan B's set to go, which I'm sure the Mayweather team have looked into as well.

I don't think Arum is spinning anything. He hasn't disclosed every bit of the negotiations besides glove size, purse split, and possible venue. There's A LOT that hasn't been mentioned when dealing with what both guys will walk away with in this fight, let alone promotional campaigns, etc.

Fact is, Arum can't be trusted with anything that he says, and the mofo lied numerous times in the past. That's an ugly precedent.

But with him saying fight'll happen is positive news, spinned or not, at least. That' something to cling onto

As far as I can see,both sides believe that their man is the cashcow!!That's the problem,when U got 2 great fighters even the split at 50/50,but have the winner take an additional 10% & make the fight happen!!But at the same time extra terms should never have been added to begin with!!
