So jrecks point is : He wants a fighter that has benefited from PEDS when boxing has terrible testing methods.

Vets point is that we should ban weight lifting.

I think a lot of boxing is psychological.

They believe they are improved but would still get schooled had they not had the skills.

      Boxing isn't a weightlifting contest.

I mean I know guys that bench 400, and punch like chicks.

I think it's one sport that skill and technique matter way more than anything else.

I think it's a joke that there isn't one proven case of a fighter being improved on fight night by peds.

No one has provided one example of this in this thread.

        I will wait.
No one cares if you don't buy it. You can sit here and pretend PEDs don't help but luckily, not everyone is as foolish as you.

who says where the line gets drawn, and at what point?

why can't these athletes be free to do as they please with their bodies? open it up.... that will shine the light on it...

if its all legal, we'll all know what they're taking.... make an 'open class'
That defeats the purpose of sports.

Its suppose to be a leveled playing field.

I think that all drugs should be legal. I've never waivered on that stance.

If they feel it helps them, then they should go for it.

            I don't believe it does.

I think the testing is just a bs smokescreen.

HAT replicates the effects of EPO, but it's not going to boost your hemocrait the way a synthetic blood booster will. Tour de Farce riders train and ride (the tour) at high altitude-----> they are the ultimate example of athletes who train at altitude, yet they still feel the need to use EPO, transfusions, testosterone and other HBOC's. Why do you think that is??

                    this is exactly the point

not everyone that trains at high altitudes for an 'upper hand' ends up winning... nor is there substantial proof that anyone that trains in this manner can credit a win to it...

so regardless of HOW you come about it.... its not as relevant as its being made out to be... if you're no good, you're no good
