It's no theory Dave, I just joined the dots.

    Remember this.....

1.) When Haye had nothing, he was desperate to fight a Klitschko
2.) K2 ****ed that up by low-balling him
3.) Haye fought golem and won the WBA belt
4.) Haye is no longer desperate to fight a Klitschko

Clearly, he will fight at least one of the Klitschko brothers, when he is ready.

    Why ?

Because he is RIGHT NOW the Heavyweight Champion of the world, just like he always dreamed back when he was a little kid - Not, hopefully will be if I can beat a Klitschko..... as was the case back when Haye riled everybody up so much they got their panties in a bunch

    He has achieved his dream.

He will most likely do allllll the things that little boys dream of

He will make some money with Harrison, and maybe another local draw or mid-tier opponent..... he will do heaps of interviews, tv shows..... and he will attend heaps of great parties, suitably befitting the heavyweight champ of the world.

Then, most likely in a year-or-so just before he retires, he will fight a unification bout against one of the Klitschko's..... most likely Vit imo.

The only issue would be if he retired without fighting them, but do you think his fans would ever let him live that down? That would burn everything that he has built, and he is well-aware of that.....

He is enjoying his current position for a little longer, doing interviews and building up his stock back home, where a large number of boxing fans don't even know who the Klitschko's are.

If he retires without a unification attempt, he will have burnt his stock, and Haye is well aware of that.

Patience bro, the paradigm changed when K2 dropped the ball, now they gotta wait.

Nah he's not doing it out of spite. When I said jerking around, I meant that he owes K2 nothing, he can do what he wants.

Yeah I agree bro, it could be a real good fight. And Haye is well-overdue being introduced to Vit's right hand..... but, it is how it is.

I would probably do exactly the same, so too would you most likely, and so would anybody else if they were honest about this situation.

If he fights a Klitschko in a year's time, everybody will forget all about this, just like they have forgotten about the 3-year-long "Mayweather is ducking Mosley" bull****.

Perhaps his performance against Ruiz, which badly exposed his vulnerability to a decent jab - combined with Chambers' performance against Wlad, which showed that Wlad's timing, footwork and jab allows him to easily dominate fast and skilful but small Heavyweights - changed Haye's mind; but the general perception (not just the perception of Haye haters) is that Haye has lost his confidence that he can win. And it was his confidence that he could win that originally made this into a prospective mega-fight, so I think it will become less and less of a mega-fight the longer he appears to most fight fans to be ducking.
I dont think it matter's. I don't think that Haye has any more self-doubt now, than he had when he flew to Germany to push Vit off his skateboard. Why would he have more self doubt now? Since then he has become champion, back then he had not even proved that he was a legit heavyweight IMO.

The day the fight is signed, and it could be less than 12 months away..... Haye will start talking, and everyone will have forgotten allllll about it, just like they did with Mayweather

Be interesting to see what Chagaev has left.

Vitali is still free the fight with Valuev hasnt been signed if Haye wants to keep any of his fans then he has to sign that fight, but who know whats going on with Haye i think he will either fight Vitali in nov time (not very likley) or fight again in 2011.

At the rate he's going, Haye will have to fight both Klitschkos in 2011. Back to back. Not much of an improvement over that so-called slave contract now is it?

IMO mid-late 2011, and Vit..... but I think he should insist on Wlad.

Wlad can take a while to settle. Maybe Haye could create some opportunities early in the fight if he pressure's him intelligently. But if that fight goes late.....

Vit would be a bad choice for Haye imo.

Well, it'd have to be before the 13th October 2011 else Haye's magic pumpkin coach and horses are going to disappear

You should be a defense attorney for mass murderers or something along those lines. Because you are pretty good at defending the indefensible. And maybe you can get Haye off on an insanity plea. Because if he truly believes he is the heavyweight champ of the world he really has to be insane.
