Comments Thread For: David Haye's Options: Harrison, Chagaev, Tua, Arreola

With the Klitschko brothers committing to other fights, WBA heavyweight champion David Haye has been left out in the cold. Wladimir Klitschko will defend his WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight titles against Alexander Povetkin on September 18. WBC champion Vitali Klitschko continues ongoing negotiations to fight Nikolai Valuev at the end of the year.

He will prolly take the easy route, Chagaev, from what ive seen he is a one paced plodder with little to no head-movement, target practice.

Fuck Harrison and Chagaev. Put his ass in there with Arreola or Tua! Preferably Tua. I'd love to see Tua knock his damn head off. Arreola has a chance to end him to, but better the honors go to Tua. He's far past due to get his hands on a title.

I'm thinking you'll never see Haye in the ring with either Arreola or Tua when he has the Harrison fight. Just last week (and in this article) I saw a lines that said the fight was still in play, it's very clear that fight will probably happen.

Ademek is the only one who has a chance, all the others are far to slow to face Haye, I would only watch the Harrison fight to finaly see fraudley disappear off boxings radar

Disagree. Unless Haye fights the way he did against Valuev they all have a chance, especially Arreola and Tua. If he stops for more than 5 seconds against one of them it's over.

Adamek in London, the fight in the ring will almost be as good as the riot in the crowd between the supporters.

That was a nicely executed strategic duck, by Adam Booth and David Haye.

I don't know what people are bitching about, with the exception of the Harrison fight (which unfortunately is the biggest $$$ option) Tua, Arreola, Adamek, and Chagaev are all worthy opponents. I'm not that sold on Tua, but the rest are good fights that I hope HBO picks up or at least some FNF headline. Adamek vs Haye at NJ Prudential Center sick sells out like that!
