Very well that Vlad-Sasha bout will take place very soon. Only two and a half months. I will watch this fight for sure.

atlas was brought in only to prepare him for wlad.he trained him vs Nolan & mora...after the wlad fight(win or lose)i think atlas won't be training him.atlas has said many times sasha isn't ready but the payday is probably too good to pass up.sasha has a nice resume but has never been in with a puncher...wlad is probably the hardest puncher in the division & no one knows if he can take a punch.sasha doesn't have much of a chance IMO but neither did buster Douglas

        Masterful Coach??

Is this the same "Masterful" coach who trained all time "Greats" such as "Art Tucker, Tyrone "The Harlem Butcher" Jackson, Donny Poole, Chris Reid (rip), Donny LaLonde and then took credit for training Tyson (who really was only ever trained by Cus and Kevin) oh and I forgot Michael Moorer, oops he was trained by Emanuel Steward a real trainer that created champions, not a guy that came in after all the work was done and did a "Hollywood" act in the corner aka "Grandstanding".. KLITSCHKO by KNOCKOUT.......

Nice cop-out by Teddy, always leaving himself an escape route. Atlas is also the guy who never had a good thing to say about either Klitschko -- but now that his guy has to fight one of them, they're too good all of a sudden.

Atlas is a hypocrite and an ******.

Remember, it is Povetkin's own people who are calling him a masterful coach. How much weight you give to that depends on how much respect you have for their word.

And Teddy was Cus D'Amato's main assistant for a long time. Cus thought highly of him, even going so far as to teasingly call him "the Young Master" as a compliment. He knows what he's doing.

I'd say at least 80 percent. Sauerland lost the purseoffer too easy and they have been building this up for a long time (obviously inspired by the way Mayweather avoided Pacquiao). Sauerland know that Klitschko won't be dictated on the terms as K2 won the pursebids, so they'll demand the WADA tests, trying to make it look as if it is the Klitschkos bailing out. And if Wladimir accepts the WADA testing, something else will happen. Most likely an "injury" like the last time.

About sparring sessions, “We are starting on Monday, July 5. We shall have a variety of sparring partners, but – sorry Alexey – I cannot reveal them to you right now. There will be at least two former world champions and we shall invite about ten classy boxers to help Povetkin prepare for the younger Klitschko”.
That's good to hear. I wonder who Povetkin's sparring partners will be.
