To me its Foreman..look he did get knocked out by Ali but overall he was very tough. So tough and durable in fact..that won the HW belt at 40/50 something yrs..old..dont remember..And look what he's done after the ring..the fat man..has sold millions of FAT REDUCING grills..thats just genious..showing he has no last effects from boxing.Comment

I didn't read the whole thread not sure if FOREMAN was mention.
Foreman was ny far the most durable. He fought every one, even won a world title at 45, he has no defects, speaks very well. No one matches foreman for the most durable.Comment

I didn't include Foreman as durable because in his prime, he got KD by ali, and didn't have it together mentally, he was not KO'd, but he let himself get counted out and then got up and walked off to his corner. That is not durability...that is fragile mindedness
aside from that tho, yea, hes a ****ing wrenchComment

Originally posted by TheGreat1yes, he lost that fight, but thats 1 fight over a 30year career, how many fighters make it 30 years, only being stopped Once. then coming back at 45 to win the title, thats durability at its best.
But the fact that he was up at 9 and walked off just makes me not want to put him in there as a durable fighter, if u dont have it mentally u dont have it at all. again i realize this was vs ali, the best fighter at the point in time. i think my idea of durability differs from yours is all it is. i consider a durable fighter to get up if hes conscious and is moving coordinatingly.
picture a fighter who was hella durable then quit in his prime in his biggest fight. that's almost george foreman, he kind of quit by waiting for the count then walking off.as muchas i admire the dude its the truth.Comment
