I'm not saying he is mentally weak but he doesnt seem that mentally strong to me. Why did he start crying? Why couldnt he just give Morales props and ask for a rematch? Actions like that make him seem like an immature person.

Why does crying boother so much people like you? I dont get it, These guys train for months and try to give it their all, They are not robots you know.

Some Pacquiao fans already admitted he's mentally weak and that was their sort of pitty excuse for him not to take blood tests.

Pac showed major heart during the Morales fight. He wasn't just trying to survive, he was trying to win. He was cut, busted up, and getting schooled and he kept moving forward. The 12th round was a good omen to their future fights.

I made a thread about this recently. Floyd is going to annihilate him with the words, this is why Floyd is being so quiet right now, he's just biding his time hoping both contracts get signed, then he is going to unleash. We saw what happened with Floyd and Oscar, Floyd said after the contract was signed that he was quiet because the contracts were not signed but now that they are he was going to talk the most ish. He has to make sure he's getting that guaranteed paper first before he starts running his mouth.

            Lol. at these Mayweather fans.

"My babydaddy Mayweather is so strong and mentally stronger, Manny ain't"

Anyway, those guys are annoying but getting to topic.

I think he is regardless of that quote.

One thing he said after fighting Cotto that Cotto hit real hard and that Cotto hurt him bad, but he didn't show it in the fight and kept going. If he wasn't strong mentally, he probably wouldnt have continued the fight the way he did. This guy trains like a beast, and ran for congress in his native country - something no weak mind can do. I guess that quote is more of superstition then it is of mental strength. This guy been fighting bigger guys lately and is unbeatable at the moment. Just my 2 cents.

This is a bad argument to make regarding his mental strength. It's natural for people to show emotion, even after losing, athletes put in all the hard work through training. It's certainly not immature for one to cry.

Regarding his mental strength, I don't think you can get to this level without having a high level of mental strength.

Not to mention Floyd has cried after victory, retirement, etc.. Emotion is a part of the sport. Training for weeks all for one night/fight.

There's nothing wrong with crying but to me it showed a mental weakness. Rather than give Morales credit for beating him and asking for a rematch, He made excuses about the gloves, his shoes, the fact that he got cut and a blood test. And then burst into tears afterwards.

Actions like this tell me he is a very mentally weak person because he didnt want to give Morales credit. He behaved like a sore loser who couldnt handle losing. Like I said before there is nothing wrong with crying but iv'e never seen another fighter at this level go into a hissy fit quite like Pacquiao did.
